Also, the cup you using , is it 250 ml , or you using half cup ? I don’t have those measuring cup and i measure in mill. I noticed that it wasn’t adding up when you measured all your liquids in a 500ml cup , and you poured 2 cups amasi, 1 cup sugar and quarter cup and everything fitted , so I assumed your cup is half cup (125ml)?
Hi, thank you… the measuring cup I used are 250ml cups for the amasi…the jar I mixed the liquids in is not 500ml but 1litre jar A lot of things can affect why scones didn’t rise as much: from the rising agent in the flour,age of flour , mixing technique, also how flat the flour was rolled, if the fat (margarine was cold enough) and the refrigeration process before baking can help improve the rise
Thank you Anza, ndo zwi pfesesa zwino, was really confused cos the jar looked like a 500ml jar, I will try again and see if they will rise better. Does your stove switch on both side ? I’m thinking maybe that’s one of my contributing factor since mine only switch on one side (lower side)

Hi Anza, I got your recipe from Tlou and she directed me to your UA-cam channel, I used everything on your list except for the food colouring and fresh cream. I substituted the fresh cream with full cream milk. My scones turned out really perfect. Cool video, thank you.
