Aideen G I love that series so much but I don't like PJO and HOO so my classmates think I'm crazy and if i read it the Kane's series seem bad but I've read PJO and still don't like it
As someone who has read every available book and almost every companion book by Uncle Rick I absolutely recommend reading them, and, just so you know, The Kane Chronicles don't have any spoilers for the rest of the books, and actually take place in between PJO and HoO
The Kane Chronicles is probably one of Rick's best books not gonna lie. Absolutely hilarious and action packed. It never bored me either. Highly recommend reading it!
I just finished the Kane Chronicles and believe me, it's absolutely awesome! I don't know why this series is not as popular as the others. Egyptian mythology is so much different than the Greco-Roman or the Norse stuff. The gods are not douchebags like those greek ones, which was a nice change. Also, there are some pretty great characters. I think more people need to read this series.
Ikr??? ABSOLUTELY NO ONE TALKS ABOUT TKC SERIES! NO FAN ART, NO HUGE FANDOM! ABSOLUTE NOTHING! I'm just glad I decided to read the series though no one actually recommends it. It sooo worth it. Seriously, though, KC is an underrated beauty.
Honestly I feel like the Kane Chronicles are so slept on. It was great for me when they came out because the main characters are biracial and it tackles racism, colorism, and the ways that those issues can affect family tension and experience. These books were so diverse with character backgrounds and issues and this came before his newer diverse books. It shows his dedication and how much he cared from the beginning. They deserve the acknowledgment lol. Also I loved the usage of Egyptian mythology. I think he used it creatively and it definitely has its own life apart from the Greek mythology series. I’ve been thinking about rereading them (since I read them in middle/high school) so I think I’ve convinced myself while trying to convince the world 😂
I’m currently reading HOO and only really started reading them because I wanted to get to TOA. But they’re actually fantastic and I’m enjoying them so much more than I thought I would (tho idk why I thought Rick’s books would be anything less than perfection 😂)
I do LOVE The Kane Chronicles and I wish more people would read them. Idk about a name for your dagger, but to clean the rust off: a quick Google search told me white vinegar or a paste made from baking soda would work, if you want to DIY it. I'm not 100% sure if this will work (sadly I don't have a dagger or much experience with metal) but do some research and try it! It looks really cool!!!
I've read all three of the Kane chronicles and the first two of the trials of Apollo series, I've also read Percy Jackson series and the hero's of Olympus series they are all awesome haven't read the third book in the trials of Apollo series yet but planing on it though
It’s ok jesse, I’m so behind on rick riordan’s books. (Im 22 and just now reading the Percy Jackson books for the first time) I’m on the fifth book now I hope to catch up this summer.
YESSS I LOVE KANE CHRONICALS. It’s so underrated but it’s personally my second favorite series he’s written (after PJO). They’re super unique compared to the rest of his writing and a high point for me personally
I am one of those few people who have read The Kane Chronicles, and you must read them, they have all of Rick's humor mixed with Egyptian mythology, what's not to love? You should just take some time, sit down and start making a dent the unread Rick Riordan books you have.
As someone who has read the Kane Chronicles: *READ THEM.* They're the first Riordan books I ever read, and I love them. They're hilarious, and they just have a touch something that his other books don't. I guess I don't know what else to say to convince you to read them other than that this series is what got me addicted to Rick Riordan's books!
‘I’ve lived a thousand lives, and loved a thousand loves, I have traveled across space and time all because I read.’ George R.R. Martin. This is my FAVORITE quote!
Also, The Kane Chronicles is basically what everyone loves about Ancient Egyptian Mythology, and a bag of chips! Plus, it has the most brilliant way of solving a love triangle ever (no spoilers, but it's pretty unique)
I have the Kane Chronicles on my shelf and I have decided that next month I am going to start it! Those new covers are cool. It’s okay I have only read the Percy Jackson series though I have a lot of his! We need a read Riordan month oooh readathon lol.
i've already read the series and really enjoyed it. i wasn't a massive fan of the ending, but the first and second are great! i also loved the companion through the dark.
You should name your dagger Fonzi. Reasoning: I have two dogs, one is named Jack and the other is named Fonzi. Jack is Magnus Chase's sword so your dagger should be Fonzi. Plus, for some reason, your dagger seems like a Fonzi. Fonzi!! Name your dagger Fonzi! :) He looks like a Fonzi!
I’m super super behind. I’ve only read the Heroes of Olympus Series and The Lighting Theif. I need to finish the Percy Jackon series and then start Magnus and Apollo!! Ugh lol
It's been a while since I've read the Kane Chronicles but I really loved it when I did. Carter and Sadie are precious and deserve as much love as other fan favorites.
I am reading The Darkest Minds right now lol I borrowed it from the library and when I finish I'll end up buying the rest of the series. It's really good :) I also want to read Furyborn
To be honest, The Kane chronicles did not live up to my expectations. It was good, yeah. But it didn’t give me the feels like all the others did. I couldn’t connect with the characters as much as I’d like to, and I just couldn’t come to like Sadie. (Sadie fans don’t hate me) But of course, that’s just my opinion. Other than that, it was a pretty good read overall. P.s: The burning maze is 😭
Kane was the only Rick Riordan that I had read for years! Like, this year. I read Kane when they fist came out and never touched another even though they were my favorite books for years

I feel like Jesse loves his books more than anything 😂
Hasnaa Mohammed yup
Isnt that a given...?
Isn't it obvious?
It’s so obvious that I can see it with my eyes closed lol! (No hate)
Read the Kane Chronicles Jesse! There is a great sibling relationship and really cool magic and it's super educational too like all Rick's books!
Aideen G I love that series so much but I don't like PJO and HOO so my classmates think I'm crazy and if i read it the Kane's series seem bad but I've read PJO and still don't like it

It was actually the first Rick Riordan book series I've ever read, and I'm now working on PJO
As someone who has read every available book and almost every companion book by Uncle Rick I absolutely recommend reading them, and, just so you know, The Kane Chronicles don't have any spoilers for the rest of the books, and actually take place in between PJO and HoO
You should read the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan because one of the main characters in named Sadie Kane and she is a strong women with sass.
Boxes...filled with stuff...

“Ok I’m done being weird.”

I read the first The Darkest Minds book and it was okay but I didn't like it enough to continue the series. But those new covers are so beautiful 😍
Your dagger is giving me serious Piper/Katoptris feels! More incentive to read HoO ;)
Yeah same!
I’m currently reading HOO and only really started reading them because I wanted to get to TOA. But they’re actually fantastic and I’m enjoying them so much more than I thought I would (tho idk why I thought Rick’s books would be anything less than perfection 😂)
Furyborn sounds really interesting.. May have to check that out after my 100 other books on my list

Oh the glory you feel when you have read the Kane chronicles before all other Rick riordan series
Instead of studying for finals here I am less than minute after he posts
YESSS I LOVE KANE CHRONICALS. It’s so underrated but it’s personally my second favorite series he’s written (after PJO). They’re super unique compared to the rest of his writing and a high point for me personally
Haiku time was the best lol! But seriously, read the book.
"I was feeling sad, and books make me happy"
Every video I'm more sure about they books make you happy you're always so happy, love it!
I am one of those few people who have read The Kane Chronicles, and you must read them, they have all of Rick's humor mixed with Egyptian mythology, what's not to love? You should just take some time, sit down and start making a dent the unread Rick Riordan books you have.

“Tissue paper is all I’ve ever wanted in life”
ME TOO!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh my gosh if you haven’t read Riordan’s The Kane Chronicles...
GET ON THAT they are his best books
Kane Chronicles is on of the best trilogies I've read. It dives so much into Egyptian mythology and even has a nod to Percy Jackson in it.
L R YES! I absolutely love those books! Its definitely one of my favorite book series! I really recommend it to anyone who absent read them yet!
‘I’ve lived a thousand lives, and loved a thousand loves, I have traveled across space and time all because I read.’

Jesse’s editing skills are always on point, especially in this video.
Jesse's fall behind on Rick makes me feel less alone 😂 I need to catch up on so many!!!
Have you done it by now?
Same!
0:40 was magical; truly obedient to the laws of cartoon physics.
Yet another exam to revise for for tomorrow and yet... here I am
Also, The Kane Chronicles is basically what everyone loves about Ancient Egyptian Mythology, and a bag of chips! Plus, it has the most brilliant way of solving a love triangle ever (no spoilers, but it's pretty unique)

Me: Doesn’t Percy have a name for his sword.

You should name your dagger Fonzi.
Reasoning: I have two dogs, one is named Jack and the other is named Fonzi. Jack is Magnus Chase's sword so your dagger should be Fonzi. Plus, for some reason, your dagger seems like a Fonzi.
