You are missed bro, (maybe I am skipping your videos, so I just turned on the bell 😉). Always the sound of reason David... we always post rationalize to justify an irrational purchase. All good points. I've been in this hobby for a long time and being 10 months away from retirement, I have to watch my budget. What bothers me is when a new artisan enters the market and wants to charge $25 for a tub. I don't think they have the history of long time artisans and haven't earn the right to ask that price.
I thought the point on resale was a good one David. I’ve definitely been burnt a time or two. I’ve been on the fence for the B1, but it sure does look good. It’s something unique. Scent sounds good on the soap. May have to grab it someday.

Prices have gone up for them. Also, some of them do this full time and some not. They are just trying to feed their families. It's not our fault you can't afford the land O lakes. You can feel free to purchase the walmart great value eggs for 6 dollars. Granted, the great value eggs are inferior in every way, but since you are poor, that's the right fit for you apparently. Stop complaining about the premium land o lake products. The chickens that lay land o lakes eggs are golden, like the golden goose. You have to pay more to get this quality. I'm sorry you cannot afford land o lakes, but bersmirching their reputation should be beneath your dignity. I not only support the land of lakes price increase but I'm calling for an additional increase. Land O Lakes, please take all my money!!!! Signed, Land O Lakes fanboy!

I can't imagine how anyone could watch your lasts video and not understand your message with respect to suicide awareness and advocating for folks to get the help they need. This is especially so after you talked in plain and clear terms about the stigma of mental health issues in minority communities. In terms of value, you're 100% correct. As consumers, we should always want the best price possible. If something is too high we can always take a pass on buying, but we're still entitled to our opinions on value. We all know the materials come by and large from the same places. Some prices are astronomical and some are quite decent. It's not only ok, but essential that we continue to point this out. Once people are armed with the information they can make their own choices. I totally respect the consumer's decision to spend their money however they see fit, be it spending a lot or a little. What I do not respect are folks who attempt to shut down conversations about consumer value. They shoot themselves and all the other consumers in the foot for no reason other than to gain favor with vendors and artisans. As I commented on your last video..... No reasonable consumer advocates for prices increases on anything else they buy. We're all complaining about the prices of everything, and with good reason. We see corporate record profits on consumer goods across many sectors. We also see how many artians and vendors keep coming into this community. One vendor leaves and two or three new ones come in. Folks should just sit back and watch how things are transpiring with an open mind and they'll see what's happening.
