Nice to see the progress on the bin site. Hope all is well. Always enjoy your take on things. I live in south central Michigan crops look very good here, we’ve been lucky with heat and rain.
This cement crew does great work. This bin pad is not coming apart. I think crop will be ok. Some farms have a lot of drown out spots so that will pull over all yield down
What do you run for a liquid system on your planter? We’re looking to add tubes behind the packer wheel to our 2150 next year to dribble 32% on. What do you run for gpa and do you put insecticide in? Looks like you don’t do any infurrow. Thanks!
I used the factory fertilizer system that was set up for in furrow. Then put splitters in off the main supply line to run dual lines to each row. I had a machine shop bend and weld my tubes. I put 10 gallons of 32 percent on. I do not run insecticide with it.
That makes sense. Our planter is setup with factory liquid with in furrow right before the closing wheels. Starter fertilizer in our area doesn’t pay every year so we’ve just been using water and insecticide. After this wet spring we need to put some nitrogen on with the planter. Don’t want to use conceal knives or have to run 2 liquid systems. Thinking of putting tubes out the back like yours and put 5-10 gal of 32 with insecticide in. Hoping rain will take the insecticide down to the seed. Are your orifices up in the yellow tee jet fitting? What size do you run?

@@StarrMan1961 That’s great that your crops look good 👍. Need bu with the prices the way they are.
That round dirt work, rebar work, looked impressive to me. Lets hope you fill that bin to the top with a bumper crop.
