Thank you. I'm a Taurus. Haven't had the easiest life. However, one thing is for certain, I have always been able to face my trials and tribulations head on and have persevered. This has also been a blessing for me to help others in heir journey of life as well. Thank you Rabbi.. i am a 60 yr old taurus woman from NZ.. i often end up doing the things that those around me are better skilled to do.. whether its fix my car, prune a tall tree, repair the guttering, manage the accounts, pay my way, stand up to bullies, and so on, this of course has brought me much confidence and determination and a feeling of inner strength and self reliance.. my greatest gift to others is the grounding energy they feel when they come to me in times of need.. a way through the darkness into light.. i am yet to experience the fullness of my taurean energy but feel the possibility of it manifesting one day..

My natal sun sign is Taurus (end of April) and my rising sign is Cancer. Due to a cold dysfunctional family system I found solace in solitary projects: reading, drawing, organizing, cleaning, & beautifying my room. Even when I was assigned a chore i.e. do the dinner dishes I wouldn’t just wash the dishes. I would clean & polish the countertops & stove; sweep the floor, but my favorite thing was shiny chrome. I left the kitchen sparkling when I was done and same with other chores like cleaning the bathroom. I’ve been oddly fastidious since I was a child about making my surroundings beautiful & a safe space. Building the shell for the Crab to hide within, free from the trauma of a dysfunctional childhood.

This is so interesting. I am an Aries age 76 and am dating a Taurus man 78. He IS very much like you describe, but really so kind! I'm surprised... with my personality, he has not just walked away. Not that I'm terrible, neither is he, BUT we are so very different. We've been dating 10 months.... I'm attracted to his strength, self-discipline and straight-forwardness.... and somewhat bossy. He described taurus pretty well. We never change our minds once it's made up and we are spiritually sensitive to our surroundings & intuitions unlike when we were younger. We prefer peace until we are given no options and are very dominant on our own path.
Astrology is accepted by Judaism? History appreciated. I was Catholic. They forbid it. Yet the Wise Men followed the star........

Thank you Rabbi for sharing such great insight on the signs. I never saw Aries and Taurus that way and it brings meaning to my life. I grew up in a family of 8 children, some of us did not make it. Some did. But, I remember as children how things were and how it ended up and yes, the Zodiac is helping me to put it all into perspective. My Mercury is in the sign of Taurus, in the fourth house. I think that Taurus, fixed earth and Scorpio, fixed water are the Zodiac signs behind the Moses story and the pathway of the Israelites across the red sea. Perhaps Pharaoh is Scorpio and Moses is the Taurus as well. Thanks again.

ba = male & material, the Master, God => Identity
la = body (~ ba) & nobody (~ ba), the Pupil, Ego (an external ego ~ ba + an internal ego ~ ka) => Facade (ba) & Worth (ka)
Nothing in my life has been 'circumstantial' and I instantly knew that I had to study logopedic sciences and become a language-linked teacher ... That was the base of my 28 years long career in the education field in the Netherlands. It ended in 2009 and I had to make new choices again. I don't have any difficulty seeing my untold relationship with Jews, it's clear they also lived while Iberia existed, and even when Mesopotamia formed later, inspiring new religions after a while plus your untold locations with the Basque culture. It's Horus/ Aztec Zodiac/ and Celtic Zodiac of 2013 I've chosen to combine along with American Wolf / Egyptian Fennec Fox/ Mesoamerican Toucan as my very clear totem choices. Taurus isn't as clear to me as Tiamat and Sekhmet. Staying free isn't my issue it's how often many don't admit their lack of accurate communication skills I experience repeatedly. I'm one of those misread loyal people whose quieter skills are often misjudged by strangers.

I am so confused. When is he talking about Taurus? I just hear him talking in general about ppl. I was born on April 21. When I was young I was extremely aggressive. I enjoyed fighting. Had no fear to speak my mind. I was never strong. I am still not strong, quite the opposite. I am very very stubborn and have given up trying in this world due to all the roadblocks ppl put in my way. I don't care about wealth or materialism. I am often very quiet, to the point it worries ppl. I seem to have a sixth sense about ppl and how they can sell morality. When I was young I had no fear with ppl. I could walk in the middle of the ghetto and be completely safe. Usually ignorance helped me with danger. I say all this to say that his interpretation of Taurus is completely opposite of me. I will say I have never bowed my morals to ppl and that has killed any possibility of being anything successful in this life. So he got that part right but the rest is the complete opposite of me
