I sat therd during parts like this and got the feeling I was at a big outdoor amphitheater like alpine valley.
True, Chris Kuroda knows the band like the backs of his hands. If you look this up in a CBS interview, you will hear Trey say the intent was to have freedom for the band and The Sphere’s director. This is only the first time at The Sphere. In the future Kuroda may have more to do with Phish at The Sphere. There is really nothing to complain about … celebrate the Phish, from Vermont!

Don't you love the people who hoot "woooooooo.....wooooooooo.....wooooooooo" over and over during the silent part? I wonder if they realize how much they sound like a primate who's expressing joy.
wish the visuals where more interactive with the music kinda of like CK does with the lights, guess that might be asking to much for a new venue and setup.
NOPE! ... videos, graphics and sound were all entuned on 4/19 and 4/20
2001 they projected the lights ck5 was controlling on the screens so basically he did the lights for the whole song

I was at all 4 shows, in the middle of section 405. It was beautiful to look at, but the SOUND was amazing. None of the videos do it justice. The sound was out of this world - brought me to tears more than once!!

two totally different experiences. real world outdoor venues vs a one-of-a-kind immersive hyper-controlled massive audio-visual space orb! not a gimmick at all, but an out-of-this-world new way to enjoy a live concert with enhanced sound and visuals at a level never accomplished before. this venue totally changes how concerts can be realized - in a pure and minimalistic way, yet constructed with the most advanced state of the art technologies available today. the sphere is an evolution of the continued pursuit of peak performances enabled by the digital age, and probably a 50 year leap forward. not hard to imagine the sphere becoming a mecca to experience heady live music for hardcore fans all over the world. who would not want to experience the 21st century's digitally precise wall of sound while their favorite band blisses them out and hyperreal simulations and art are projected around them? obviously youtube videos do not really do the sphere justice 😂
@@digidigit 1000 percent. The sound was AMAZING and just cannot be captured on videos/recordings. We loved the visuals too - but it was the sound that took these shows over the edge for me.
