@Alek Mitev I've never heard those numbers, not once, i have however heard the number 11 million a lot. I dont see how that'd be so physically impossible, considering the estimated deaths of the entire war is well over 60 mil!
Someone suggested an alternate history if the putsch had succeeded .I think if it had suceeded ,Germany would have a course that would have been similar to Fascist Italy . They sound like old fashioned conservatives and maybe the Kaiser would have been restored as a frontman .I doubt if their ideology was as developed as the Nazis would later be .Possibly Kappa would have merely been a strongman with no real ideology other nationalism.
God knows, a lot of putschists were from DVNP, which was a nationalist, but not a pro-monarchist party, which resulted in the decisions of the putschists that the monarchy wouldn't be restored. Kapp's nation would've been a dictatorship certanly, for example he had put a con man as a censorhip guy in the government, i think. We couldn't know the Hitler's role in the newer Germany (would've he run for a government seat, who knows, but Hitler probably intended to have some role, since he flew from Munich to Berlin to do something there (was sent by the army i think) and he was in support of the coup.). Probably Kapp's Germany wouldn't be as extreme as Nazi Germany, but it probably wouldn't be too dandy of a place if you were a leftist, or god forbid, a communist (since literally Freikorps, hardened anti-communist militia took over the city and the threat of one of their most famous units disbandonment started the whole thing). But as well, would Kapp's nation be a dictatorship? Who knows, Kapp only had established the provisional government there, so who knows. Food for thought.
I think Kapp was true conservative with monarchial tendencies but pragmatic enough to accept a Republic. He was an anti-Semite without a doubt but not the doctrinaire type that Hitler represented but Anti -Bolshevik to the core.
It's to do with German word order, in German party comes before Deutschland while in English party comes at the end, sometimes people use sdp as opposed to SPD to to simplify for an English speaking audience.

@@Frexican54 a complete lie right there sir, mark my damn words, there is no way, NO WAY, the germans could have held any longer, with or without strikes, the soldiers were sick and tired of that shit, most of them had seen their friends die in front of their eyes, they were starving and their guns were of poor quality by the time the war ended, you really think they would have gotten leverage at versailles had they held a BIT longer? Jabzy, when are you gonna release 3 Minute History videos on Southeast Asian history?
Where the Social Democrats in Germany called SDP back then as opposed to SPD as they're currently called?
No. The SPD was always called SPD. Jabzy mixed up the letters. Just a little mistake in well researched, informative video.

So.... this has nothing to do with the word "Kaput?"
Wolfgang Kapp was the leader of the Fascist ex-military group the Freikorps hence the 'Kapp putch'. Kaput means broken i think.
