We were lucky enough to record Dengue Dengue Dengue playing songs from their newly released album 'Zenit & Nadir', during the rehearsals their new tour's debut show at the #EnchufadaNaZona festival in Lisbon.
The Peruvian duo is joined on stage by Miguel and Wladymyr Ballumbrosio, playing traditional Afro-Peruvian rhythms on instruments such as the iconic quijada - a rattling percussive instrument made out of a donkey’s jawbone - and displaying the zapateo dance moves, all while opening up a whole new dimension to Dengue Dengue Dengue's vibrant audiovisual live show.
