All these years later, Thick As a Brick is still a masterpiece. What I really appreciated about Mr. Anderson and company was that while they didn't seem to take themselves seriously at all, they took the music very seriously, and it showed in their stage and studio performances.
Yes, Ian and company were always very serious about every performance. As an Aqualung, Thick as a Brick, Passion Play, and their Mistral in a Gallery tour attendee.....there was way too much energy for one stage... First class performances every one. I got my $6.50 worth every time.
Jethro Tull is still touring in 2025, but, you'll have to catch them in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Brussels, Spain, Austria, France, Slovakia, Budapest, or Finland. There are no United States concerts scheduled. Glad I went to the Aqualung US tour, the Passion Play US tour, the Thick as a Brick US tour, and the Minstrel in a Gallery tour In the US. Being old has advantages. Our generation pioneered the stuff kids today listen to. Peace/Love/Rockn' Roll.
Ian seems like a very odd fellow but I love his music...especially thick as a brick, after reviewing the album cover for quite some time as a teen ager, I finally discovered the joke of the cover
Sir Ian is one of the great 20th century composers. Aqualung, Minstrel in the Gallery, and Thick as a Brick are brilliant.

I used to listen to Jethro Tull quite a bit during the old 8 track days.
Wonderful Band .
Always liked Tull, but never saw them live. I feel left out. 😢

Obra maestra de Jetro Tull,
OMFG!!!!!
Why start now?
Dangest thing I've seen and heard lately.
Yeah…😅❤
Ian said he picked up the flute because he wanted to stand out as a musician and wasn’t good enough on the guitar to stand out. I think he chose well.
Ian channeling his inner Groundskeeper Willy.
Why the video stops before the end of the performance?
There is some 20 sec missing.
Rare to see great musician And performer 😂
