Maybe we should identify say two players per season from the academy for first team duties if this trading model is to work, but the support would need to be patient with them. This could help us bring in some of the best youngsters as they could see a future of playing first team football. The fact many are 20 and above years old is somewhat ridiculous in today’s game before getting a chance. We maybe need to look more closely at say Ajax or benficas setups to see where we are going wrong.

For me signing another Lb is a waste of resources. Clement seems to stick with a system that uses a 10 and he doesn't have a proper 10 in one of the key parts of this system. Lawrence is not the answer as our 10. Fine as a squadder but thats it. Phil isn't using Cantwell and Hagi, so thats off the table. Why push for a left back when we have Fraser and Jefte? Let them gain experience. Get a 10 in if we can sell some players. It would upgrade our attack massively. Ideally I would have a CB on loan or free agent, and CM as well. Though for CM, striker and LW we should look to promote from within and give them time this season to build experience.
@@rangersnut hagi and cantwell should be played in first team to put them in shop window and let both of them are playing to get a move elsewhere and it might motivate them to give their all

What has happened between the two players, has not been handled well. Though I don't think we can absolve the players of blame. Hagi, just seems to think he is too big for the club and league, without proving it. Cantwell is running away from the challenge. Instead of big mouthing about what he would do, he should have shown his best and dug in to prove doubters wrong. The cream rises to the top and to be honest he hasn't had a single good game against Celtic or been a threat very often. Mgregor had him in his back pocket, as much as I hate to say it. If he had anything about him he would wise up, apologise for asking to leave, dig in and show he has the ability to be a success here. If it was me and I could play, I would want to put Mgregor and Celtic back in their box. I don't really rate the lad as he is, but if he dug in and proved he can do the business that could change. Respect from the support is earned through performing generally well. Cantwell needs to develop the tactical and awareness side of his game and be more direct and learn to play a decisive pass. His individual skills are better than average, but he doesn't seem to follow or impact well within the team. I think he plays too much for himself and within his own head. He can do a fancy wee turn, or step over or flick and run into space then lose the ball or pass directly to the opposition. I think he thinks he is prime Ronadlinho and he doesn't have that level of natural skill. He has enough natural ability, but somewhere along the way his ears have switched off and he hasn't learned or been open enough to managers asking for things out of him. His social media antics as well leave a lot to be desired and must be a source of annoyance for managers. He puts things up, that the media latch onto and it has been a distraction during important game weeks and at times he makes himself and the club look foolish. Still regardless, it seems Hagi and Cantwell won't be picked by Philippe. Dessers still isn't my favourite Rangers striker, but he is winning me over by his effort for the cause.
B team should have been used it the managers that don't rate or use them . I think they should use more young blood would have been alot cheaper than keeping Lawrence, dowell. Hagi and cantwell what's the wages they four are on and can't get rid what does that tell you about the man who gives them they contracts shocking behaviour.
