CORRECTION: Johnny’s father DID NOT beat him, or his siblings. His father was a mild-mannered man who endured Johnny’s mother’s abuse, as well. This is why he finally left.

Absolutely true. My mother in law was a narc. His older brother was the "golden child" my husband the "victim child", so was constantly belittled and criticised him causing loss of self esteem and confidence. When our daughter was five years old she said she didnt want to go see her anymore because she didnt like her daddy and kept calling him names ( her version of criticism). He died in his forties of alcoholic liver disease, while our daughter was away at university. She managed to get to the hospital about half an hour after he had died. So narcs have the power not just of control, but also can lead to suicides of their victims. She shed her crocodile tears at his funeral. So everyone gathered around giving her the attention she craved. We never forgave her as you cannot forgive a narc, they have no remorse.

Someone who wasn't even welcomed back to his high school after dropping out and attempting to re-enter has never given up! Although many films had failed, he kept committing to his career and believed in himself. That has made all the difference the way I see it. There's no one that can play Captain Jack Sparrow. That will be Johnny Depp's role forever
Depp got part of his inspiration for jack from that Richard E Grant movie called “Withnail and I”. When you hear Richard E Grants character drunk talking to people in the movie, if you close your eyes it’s like hearing Depp do his jack sparrow voice. Depp holds the crown for best actor of our life time. I honestly believe there is no other actor in Hollywood today who is on his playing field.
Can’t wait to see his new movie when he plays King Henry the XV.

I think the entire planet feels the same way. He truly is one if a kind. Growing up with an abusive mom and later an abusive hubby made me who I am today. Johnny seems to have the ability to understand, to forgive, and to love forever. He had the courage to love someone enough to let that person go. Even after all the pain inflicted upon him, he still wont hurt them in return. His heart is huge. How I wish I found a kind soul like him. I too have endured abuse, yet still continued to have love in my heart. My heart breaks for him. For all tje hugs he has given, I feel as if he deserves those hugs in return-tenfold. I love your heart and soul Johnny. You truly are one of a kind 💙😇

I’ve watched a few of this channel’s bios and when I learn how confused and unmotivated so many of these guys were in school and yet found their passion later in life, gives me hope for my son. He has so many of these ideals of the world and his fear of failure can take over, but what people presume is a lack of motivation is a fear of failure and being dyslexic, he hates school. But not everyone has to be amazing in school. These are lessons that need to be taught, but then again, being an underdog has its benefits too! Just ask Johnny!

I have always been a fan of Johnny Depp. I am so impressed with the fact that he is telling the world factual details of his personal life & history in order to reveal the truth of the abuse Amber Heard inflicted on him emotionally & physically. By the grace of God, he was aware of her serious mental problems & severe personality disorders and was able to escape with his life. She wanted to destroy him because she couldn't control him, which has backfired on her due to Johnny's obsession of living his truth. Imagine how awesome the world would be if everyone had the inner strength and honesty that he has. Amber Heard needs to be incarcerated because her acts against him have been criminal. Johnny is the sole victim in this situation. May God bless his life greatly for being the truth the world needs so much more of. Thank you for sharing your life & talent with the world. My grandson, who is almost twenty, grew up with Jack Sparrow. Totally enamoured with him, all the costumes, swords, all the Lego sets of the ships, books. He still has everything related to Jack Sparrow. He honestly thought he was this character and sometimes I think he still does. In many ways he reminds me of Johnny Depp. Heart of gold, loving, kind and shy and soft spoken. His dad, my son, passed away when he was nine and he looked after his four year old brother. So tender to watch. Poor little guys have an narcissistic mother, so it has been quite a horror show for these kids. I had never seen anything like this before and was completely shocked. Fortunately, I have been able to devote so much time to them, and it is still my greatest privilege. Abuse is the worst thing for anyone but sometimes these kids grow up to be the best adults. I have to thank “Jack”, Johnny Depp for having been a wonderful role model. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️

I've always admired Johnny Depp...not only is he one of my favorite actors, but he seems to really "get" all of his roles, and in doing so, he brings you into the story with realism that draws you into the part so well, that you forget it is a movie you are watching. Donny Brasco was such an impressive film, and his part in it really took me there as if I was in the room with him the whole time. He complimented Pacino, and vice-versa. The casting was perfectly done.

I watched the trial all of it. Both Johnny and his sister testified that his father never abused them it was his mother who beat them, his father stayed in the relationship until he could not take it anymore and then left. Johnny himself said his father was incredibly brave to endure for as long as he did but had no ill feelings towards his father for leaving. His sister said the same. But I admire the fact that even though his mother was incredibly cruel to him, he bought her a home across from his home and paid medical personnel and everything for her and visited her regularly prior to her death. Admirable and remarkable. That takes a special kind of person. I’m sure he loved his mom greatly and wished maybe things had been different. But I admire the hell out of someone like him. He despite how things went for him he deserves to be happy. I think he is starting to be happy doing things that make him happy. For that I admire him. To see the way he lit up talking about Judi Dench. So sweet.

You know it's speculated that they had been looking for a reason to let him go because they couldn't afford him since pirates 5 bombed so bad and they lost so much money. They would save 90mil by not casting him or casting someone else to takeover the role. Idk if it's true or not.
