thanks Jon, I'm working on learning this song for my band Acton Zappa. I'd got some of it sussed out but you've really nailed it. This will save me some serious time. Thanks again.
Hey man. I’ve been looking for this for years. My ears wouldn’t let it happen for myself. Zappa “2 chords”. I should have known!! Shakes fist. Bravo and thank you!!
You are welcome - like many of FZ's songs its really beautiful. I think so many just hear his music as ... funny, but he wrote many really great melodies
I couldn’t agree more, Jon. Over the years I’ve come to appreciate more and more the sheer beauty and generosity of Frank’s work - songs such as this one, for example, which previously I would have dismissed as a mere ditty, are in fact perfectly formed works of art. His (often justified) jaded cynicism belied a warm and sensitive man, whose music encompasses the whole gamut of human experience, in all its messiness. I mainly listen to jazz these days, but Frank will always be my number one. Thanks again for transcribing this wonderful song; it must’ve taken a while! Cheers.
Awesome job! It's a tough song to make sound good especially for solo guitar!
@@Proguitar07 yeah wish I could sing like NMB or Ike or good greif Mr Martin
@@jonlee7269 right, well your guitar playing and song interpretations sound great!

Dead Girls of London from Touch...(Shankar) would be very cool. FZ and Ike Willis do a great vocal on that one. Cheers.
would love it if you'd do a complete pass through the whole song in real time. Always wish people would play through before or after they dissect it.
but thank you for the video
it would also be helpful if you tuned your guitar to A 440..just feedback not dissing you at all great job you have a great ear
your guitar is up a half step in this tutorial
Try playing the cords in the positions shown along with the recording. Tuning is standard E tuning
