wish you would have started from far off and then approached the part. I still have no idea how close to the front or back this part is. The only thing I've learned is that its on the passenger side. Do you have any pics you can share

Hey my 08 gave a code PO308 crank shaft sensor so im thinking is same sensor ...when changing does any oil come out so I can be aware thanks in advance
love the way you eloquently state it," carefully because its cheaply made" that's BMW for you. I have the same car and I wonder if it was manufactured in a third world country in someones back yard, BMWs are the absolute worst when it comes on to quality per dollar.
I have a 2012 BMW in my garage that cranks but wont start I changed the relay in the rear passenger side I also changed the fuel pump and got a brand new battery it still cranks but wont start. I used a diagnostic tool I'm getting DSC fault HELP ME ?
did you figure out the problem....my 2009 X5 does the same thing....cranks but wont start and I just changed the relay in the rear passenger side, tried to jump start also
My 2010 X5 does the same thing. Only fault codes I have are "Fuel mixture ratio too lean on bank 1 and bank 2." These codes have been on for 3 weeks. These should not stop the car from running or starting. Would bad mass airflow sensor bad caused the car not to start? It will crank but won't fire up! Any suggestions?
Compac Industries under intake manifold. You might as well do a water pump and transfer pipe. .....aaaand while your there do value covers. Aaaaaand while your doing valve covers and you still have a few bucks left do the valve seals.. them you’ll be good for about 6 months till you have another leak. - My love hate relationship with my 4.8i X5

Is this the only sensor ? Or is there more crankshaft sensors
i have a problem with my X5 E70 v8 4.8i when its hot it does not engage into gears but when its cold it drives smoothly can sensors affect that?
