Stadtbahn Frankfurt Main - Linie U5 [HD]

Teil 7 von 7 führt uns zum oberirdischen Teil der U5 in Frankfurt. Diese Linie ist in großen Teilen tatsächlich noch wie eine klassische Straßenbahn geführt und zeigt eigentlich sehr deutlich, daß die Frankfurt Stadtbahn eben auch nur solch eine ist und keine echte U-Bahn, da umgebaute Straßenbahnen mit Klapptrittstufen zum Einsatz kommen. Zwar sollen irgendwann Hochbahnsteige für die U5 kommen, aber das wird noch einige Jahre dauern. Abgesehen davon frage ich mich, wie man das dort realiseren möchte, wo man auf der Straße aussteigt...
Part 7/7 of Stadtbahn(light rail/pre-metro Frankfurt Main). The U5 in this area is like a normal tramway, therefore vehicles with folding steps are needed.
The prove that the Frankfurt light rail is no "real" subway, there are still modified tramcars in service. It is planned to build high-located platforms but this will take some years. And it is questionable how to implement them at the places where people enter the vehicles from the street...
