Well Michael it looks like you saw a lot of variety. BNSF, CSX AC6000s their SD60s, and normal NS stuff. You not only videoed at the station you went upto Columbus Avenue. When I was their I saw UP SD9043MACs!!! Danny
We saw three. The local (the one high-hood SD40-2), an autorack/intermodal and a Roadrailer. NS is busiest in the morning and late afternoon/evening in Fostoria. We were here in September and we got to Fostoria in the morning and we saw 3 NS trains in about 15 minutes (two of them met right at the crossing) and there was another later in the afternoon.
Only thing missing was Steam.LOL. If you like steam I have an PM 1225 excursion set for March 15 2014. More info on my Railyard Productions facebook page
Hey man! I'm going there in August and just wanted to know how high security CSX is about standing in that parking area where the NS and CSX lines cross. Thanks!
Next to non-existent. The station is owned by CSX and used for MOW crews. They're nice and last time I was there in the summer they offered us water and ice cream lol. Just make sure to cross the tracks at the crossing and you should be fine.
Those Railstream folks are great. Always nice to hang out with them.

Ok, thanks man!
What does csx stand for?
lowjamz828 The C stands for Chessie, the S stands for Seaboard and the X is the variable that represents the other railroads that make up CSX.
Medium to clear? There's no such signal.
Sorry, I meant clear to medium.
+spike5343 There is on CN and CP in Canada.
974 is an ES44AH
