I was hoping that his was going to be a video explaining how to play this game. "Training Camp" got me confused.
Is there a reason to play this game over Dota Underlords? I’ve been playing a lot of it and it’s really fun but most streamers seem to play TFT. Am I missing something?
Not really. Theres more money in tft including tencent paying streamers. Tft is way more random imo tho. Thats a good and bad thing as it creates highs and lows of emotion. UL is kinda... stale, very predictable. Basically if you wana win and play for rank play UL for mindless fun play tft.

You gotta try the gunslinger 6 blademaster comb, especially if you get spatula to turn trist/lucian into a blademaster, it takes some time bur once you got all pieces it‘s actually insane with fiora/shen/aatrox frontline
When trist proccs she fires 3 atacks at everyone with the right items she‘ll kill their whole team in 2-3 proccs

Best play at 16:00 was tear. Then econ/roll to max level and to max out your elementalists. On a side note your positioning after this point was really bad. You have to protect the kennen. For the cc.
The goal with the team comp is to clump and protect. Far left or far right.
Imo the best way to win with gunslinger is to make red buff graves the carry, then late game you try to get blademaster from gankplank + yasuo + blade of the ruined king on graves. The gunslinger and blademaster passive will make graves proc like 16 red buffs in an aoe from each auto in big team fights

Nobles arnt that good but nobody really went for a "meta" comp (meta has "" because im being told insistently tft has no meta). Wild sorc and full sorc beat it voidassassins beat it and Glacialrangers beat it. Someone had 4 rangers but without the glacials. Dono about gunslingers. Personally i prefer blademaster gunslingers (spatula gunslingerblademaster is hillarious). You might have had the dpa to overpower nobles but you splashed tanky instead
Maybe if u picked up the mf and replaced the pyke giving soss to brand. Mf ult is also a big chunk of magic damage.
Imo there is a meta, it's just that with rng and a limited pool of champions you have the choice of going for the meta team and possibly just getting destroyed by not getting it or you can more consistently go for the "weaker" comps and get higher starred units because less people are probably going for those
Gunslinger is only bad b/c the "extra attack" animations make them bug out very hard. If they removed the animation and just made it some kind of % based mulitattack, it'd be much better.
while not wholly meta, there are definitely popular and synergistic compositions, which players of all rank gladly try to copy.

Ok long story short, it's a ghost opponent, this means that it's champions abilities don't work so no invincibility in kindred ulti for example. Ghost opponents exist so that in the case of an odd number of players, like in this case of 5 players left alive all player are fighting an opponent. You can see it's a ghost opponent because it's avatar isn't on the field.

you need to know a lot of background. play the original game (dota2, LoL) learn about the heroes, after that learn about the heroes in the respective game (underlords, TFT) and take notes about how to make the good items. the rest is you need to invest time to play the game, get the pieces together. (i know i know my english is bad but i try to help)

@@BrendanBeckett its like raising a children. you make a comp it goes stronger and stronger and you sit on the sideline while he / she takes part in some kind of sport event and you cheer for him / her. its really enjoyable for many ppl :)

@Brendan The idea of the game is pretty much RNG management, you buy champions and try to pair them up in a way that will beat out everyone else's teams. Autochess was the original name for it - because you buy specific pieces and they move and shoot on their own. I'm sure there's some kind of tutorial out there that explains how this works. I just hyperbolic time chamber training by playing matches without EVER drafting ANY Synergies (except Ninja 1/2/3 because 1 is fine and 2/3 are nerfs, Exile because only Yas has it, and Robot because only Blitz has it). Got 4th twice and 5th twice (but many were those 5th's so close to being 4th's if I'd played better). It's a fun challenge if you're looking for a handicap, it really changes how you look at the game.
That doesn't train you to do shit. Hitting synergies requires the most skill in this game while maintaining good econ
@@RadialSeeker113 Not really, hitting synergies while maintaining good econ is pretty easy, especially because most players aren't actually spending all their gold efficiently and waste it trying to reroll too early or while other teams have a bunch of the same units or just trying to be greedy in general.
In order to [;ace decently without ANY synergies ever you need to actually understand the fundamentals of the game itself. How to position against different comps, which units can pull their weight for the current stage of the game even if they're not upgraded, where to prioritize items and when/who to swap them to to keep/regain momentum, who to swap out once you start getting to better units, etc.
I can basically ignore most of that if I just go for a synergy (other than pirates OFC) and force it and end up in 3rd place or higher consistently, because the inherent power of the synergy makes up for the worse fundamentals. So once my fundies are good, then I go back to using synergies and I'll stomp most matches no problem.
Hardly a handicap really. Synergies arnt as powerfull , items are. Sos deathcap Asol or stack draven and 1v9 shit...

What, did you get into 2 games, lose both of them, and then type this out? RNG is a part of the game mate, but skill plays a very big factor. That's why people win consistently. It's called RNG management, and that's the base of the game. More skilled people know how to handle bad RNG better. Take a look at Hafu's channel if you really think this game is only RNG.
You could say the same thing (90% luck 10% skill) about Hearthstone and it'd still be just as true. As in, you have a point to an extent, but that's the core of the game. No need to be salty about it. :)
Played plenty of games, land anywhere between 2nd place to last place depending on RNG as said (I've gotten first place a few times of course but I got very lucky). The 10% of skill in when to spend on levelling is certainly an actual judgement factor, and the main thing deciding if you take first place or not, but outside of the top position you have miniscule control over anything you do in the game (especially with how poorly balanced and flat out programmed it is right now, lmao the bugs).
As long as you go in prepared to essentially be gambling 30 minutes of your day there's nothing wrong with it, hell I still play the game mode and have a decent time. But I genuinely believe these kinds of guides mislead players into blaming themselves for a loss out of their control by creating an illusion of skill or lack thereof.
Your comparison to hearthstone is correct; the skill is in leveraging what your luck gives you. But there's a reason even the very best decks and players in the game are still at most 60% winrate. That said I'm the type of player who becomes salty if I could've won but failed to notice the road to victory, and the win being out of my hands (for example due to rng) is instead something that lets me play the game more casually and not take it too seriously.
