I agree with you on the friendships. I am an introvert as well so it definitely takes some time for me to feel comfortable with someone to meet them in person. That’s just natural and any adult should understand that. I want it to flow and not feel forced. Love the vlog! ❤

First & foremost; I am a fan of the vlogs. I want to say thank you for advocating to those who have Trigeminal Neuralgia. I’ve cried because you know what we go through on a daily basis. I’ve been diagnosed with TN since July 2017. I have tried almost everything to relieve pain. I’ve tried medications, currently I am using Botox for TN. I almost gave up but I’ve kept fighting for pain relief. Thank you for advocating for us, TN warriors. Thank you so much!

I feel you on the meeting-strangers-reservation. My friends are always telling me to be careful with people wanting to meet. If we don't really have a raport, I usually say maybe one day when I have time...lol. I like it when I meet supporters organically, and I've gained a few friendships but with just a few ppl that I got to know more overtime.

Hi Stephanie, I completely agree with you about friendships. I had a friend in the past who started hanging out with this person I didn’t vibe with. They were doing things on their own which was fine. It showed me it wasn’t a true friendship. A person I thought was a friend from work I came to realize that she was just using me. I rather be by myself. I like that black tube dress you got!! I am waiting for a pretty pink floral robe I ordered to come.❤

I hope you don’t think I am a creeper 😂😂. The day I saw you at Target and knew you were vlogging and then you popped up in my UA-cam feed as a suggestion. We know “they” are following us 😂. I really enjoy your content. I just started watching this video and told my husband I really like her. Yes it’s very strange how I came across her but sometimes people and things are put there for a reason as we know. Anyway I told my husband her videos just are calm and relaxing to me. They somehow just feel comfortable. He looked at me like I had two heads haha! Life and work can be so stressful and your content can help me to relax. I told him her channel name is the soft nurse brand, I think it is the word “soft” that explains it for me. Your speaking voice is so soft and you have a “soft” calming presence. Good afternoon sis! Relate-ionships! I totally get what ur saying. First, I'm sorta a loner, I can b around others and still b at peace alone to myself wherever! I think some people still get associations and relationships mixed up. It takes two along with commitment to start a relationship. I've learned over the years less is best. Too many friendships can be exhausting and way much maintenance. But that person should b n agreeance about what all it takes to build a relationship/ friendship. Respect, patience, love, forgiving, time and giving accountability advice. Until one understands themselves, it can b very difficult to bring another in. I've had to let some friendships go because I was a priority. I was a second thought! But that's ok because it helped me to understand my role/ or what I brought to the table. So I decided to saved my energy solely on myself. Life is hard already out here! Marriage, work, raising children, bills, right decision-making and etc. Yell ! TRUST plays a huge factor n all ! And this world ain't what it use to b sis, as u know ! Stay prayed up and GOD will continue to order and guide ur steps! Much love

I am doing a lot more solo and/or being very selective about who I hang out with because I see how people move. I realize some people are only for a season. It can be alarming when you come across another person who looks like you, who's genuine, doesn't have a hidden agenda, confident enough in herself to reach out to you that we think something is wrong. .We have to realize there's still good people in the world with no hidden agendas just being friendly even though the world will sometimes have us believing otherwise..
Hey sis. That was NOT the case in this instance. Yes I agree , we must remain open however , we must be careful. There is nothing wrong in being confident and reaching out but I think building a rapport FIRST is safest prior to meeting someone new . Especially when you have a family to protect. In this case , I’ve learned a person will eventually show you in actions what their not saying in words.
Absolutely agree I think the only reason it’s hard for me to meet friends (I’m over 35) now is because I’m not working anymore, and my lifestyle is different from most people in my area around my age.
Hey sis. Yes, Your lifestyle plays a major role as well. Ppl should take that into consideration. I also say it depends on what you’re looking for in a friendship. It’s important both individuals communicate what they are looking for , therefore there’s no confusion when determining if there is a mutual interest . That starts with open communication. I don’t think it’s “ALARMING” that someone is cautious in meeting others. Especially in today’s society. I think it’s smart. I do think it’s alarming when you remain closed off and you don’t even try to communicate your feelings or get to know someone. But that’s just my opinion like many others. Thanks for your input.
I think people need to be more cautious. I like the fact that you said you WANT to get to know them and not that you don't want to meet at all. People should respect your boundaries smh

Real friends will respect you for you! Those constant jabs is a reflection of her. Insecurity and a lot of times jealousy. I actually experienced someone who was trying to build the same life I had and the things i had it was giving stalker, single white female vibes. She was obsessed with figuring out why I stopped communicating with her. She even reached out to my coworkers who we knew in common to find out why I stopped all communication. Just like relationships unfortunately we have to practice discernment. It’s unfortunate that its hard to make friends with other women especially as adults.

I agree that it is harder to make friends when you get older as you are established and know what you need in a friendship. I am situated in life similar to you and I have found that I don’t like people who are not authentic, are needy or are judgmental. If you work hard you can have whatever you want and a true friend would respect and admire that because they would also have their own. You are a strong, successful, beautiful, confident and smart female . I have experienced some females that get intimidated by that. My best friends are confident and strong like me and don’t try to judge or compete, they are who they are and they let me be me.

To make a long story short, she started acting funny and distant. I was disappointed because she came to me.. I don't let it get to me anymore.. yes it is okay i do not have to be your friend. You keep doing what you are doing. Guard peace, guard your heart 😌

Sisterhood isn’t what it was when I was younger , I’m a little more reserved. Especially now that I have 4 children and a spouse. I do what’s comfortable and best for my family dynamic. I’m 41 and I met my latest best friend when I was 35. She was truly the last person I can say I really connected with and has had longevity in my life. Thanks for your insight. I love hearing different perspectives 🥰. I totally get the idea of casual friendships. 😉

I have had lifetime friends come up jealous and snotty and I pick it up and realize they never liked me they wanted something from me. New people I take my time with, and I have become much more discerning with old friendships. Many have come up lacking. You must protect yourself and your family. Many people have hidden agendas. Nothing wrong with protecting yourself from all the negative in this world in my opinion.

As a transplant I’ve found it hard to make a genuine connection. It feels like relationships in general are very surface level and superficial these days. I have a tight circle but they don’t live near me. I always say no new friends but honestly it’s not realistic not to desire friendship. Since Covid I’ve found that my best connections have been made online. I’m extremely selective about who I allow into my space and what I consume so the few creators that I religiously support, there’s something in them that i see in myself as well as desire in a friendship. I too have run into the exact same scenario where someone older than me befriended me and every time I turn around she was showering me with backhanded compliments and so forth. It was so exhausting. Like you said I like what I like. I’m a fashion girl period but I’m also subtle and never showboat. I won’t apologize for what I’ve accomplished in life..period. Being equally yoked doesn’t stop with your mate…as always thank you for what you bring to us girls, thank you for your transparency you are appreciated! 🥂💕
