So glad you and your son are fine. Hope you recover completely soon. Love your house. I want to make one, but much smaller than yours since it will be my retirement home. Best of luck that you guys get it all done and share more videos on the whole process. Thanks for sharing all that you have so far.
First of all, glad you's made it thru the wreck okay ! Second, like your design, huge project for sure, alot of work accomplished ! Third, don't envy the amount of remaining work to do ! None the less, looks good👌!
Ha ha, yeah thanks! We’ve actually been in the house now for 1 year. We’re loving it! The only work left to do on the house is some shelving in the closets and rain gutters. But we have a lot of work to do outside on the land. Thanks for watching!
Hi Brandon, thanks for watching. I have a bunch more footage from the process and hope to find some time to go through it and share it one of these days.
Wow! it is coming right along brother. Looks Great! Maybe someday I can talk Lori into moving back to Utah and out of the Arizona Heat. :) Build Our Shipping container home close to your Adobe home.
The house looks fantastic! I love that you made your own adobe bricks and milled your lumber. That truck was smashed. I'm so glad that you and your son were okay. It seems miraculous that you didn't get injured worse!
i was wondering how many bricks you made, the size of your house and the actually amount of bricks you used ? Am thinking about building in southern Utah and making my own bricks. Just don't want to make to little or to much. Is 10% more then I figured a good amount or did you use less then you figured? By the way your videos are the best I have seen on the internet . Around what elevation are you at? Am thinking passive solar but I won't get sun from 11:30 to 2:30 in wintertime .
Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I’m in the investigational stage of an adobe plan, your videos are some of the most thorough explanation of a modern adobe build. I started with a book by Paul Graham McHenry on adobe building, I would love to know what other resources you used to learn as much as you have. Best of luck.
Hi Jonathan. I’m glad you’re finding my videos useful. Hopefully you can use the information I’ve presented to help you in your project. I gathered as much info as I could from the internet, most of which was just about the benefits of using adobe, not much on actually how to do it. Luckily I have a friend who has done a bit of building with adobe and he shared his knowledge with me. One thing I did learn though is that if you can find someone who has done it before, they are usually very willing to share what they know. I would also say, don’t be intimidated by it. It’s hard work but adobe is super forgiving. If you make a mistake it easy to fix. And mistakes add character. Good luck with your project
Project Biggs Glad (or maybe sad) to know it wasn’t just me having a hard time finding actual building discussion online. I have a few leads on folks working with Adobe south of me, so I will definitely take your advice on reaching out that way. Best to you and yours.
If gas behaves the same as water, by decreasing the pipe diameter the pressure does not increase. The pressure stays the same however the velocity of the fluid is what increases. Either the pressure from the source is already too high, or the velocity of the fluid causes problems and thus the need for a reducer valve. Thanks for the video!
I absolutely adore your design, thank you for the explanation Ever since I saw you guys get started I was hoping these design plans would be in your master plan! I’ll admit, I’m a bit envious 🤣 chads not on board with all of this but this is how I’d have loved to do our dream/retirement home. C’est la vie, I love seeing all of your progress! Grats! -Lara
Sorry I commented before I could get all the way through the video (😬kids) I hadn’t heard about your accident but I’m just blown away by those pictures and so thankful you guys came out ok, sent out a prayer of thanx! So amazing, hope you keep on that road to recovery and fell 100% ASAP!

I hope you can keep uploading the building process, as well as resourcing and pricing. Thanks for sharing
