My heart breaks for Lola and Lexi, the latter shares an amazing and friendly bond with her mother, it's so cruel for both of them as Lola is too young to die and doesn't deserve this, and Lexi has the best mum she could ever dream of, sure she has Ben but he isn't a reliable father, and Jay will move on eventually and will likely find another love interest in a few years, the only one who can be trusted to look after Lexi properly is Billy.

It's Ben's chance to step up, because he has to. Losing someone changes people, so it could change Ben and make him try to be a better father. Lexi has alot of father figures to support her. But yeah, losing your mother at a young age isn't something I could imagine. So yeah, I hope Ben steps up and proves he's reliable.
