  • Bandai Figure Rise Standard Wargreymon (Amplified), from the series Digimon Adventure.
    Wargreymon was always my all time favorite digimon, many thanks to Bandai for making this super cool model kit. Even without painting, this kit still looks awesome. For those who wish to try on this kit out there, you definitely wont regret, trust me :D

    finally find it, a video that has the exact Color I want but also states the colors used, if possible you can only give me some extra input (prepared, what to watch out for) as it will literally be my first attempt in this field and I want as much as as much information as possible

    • @BokunoGunPLAs
      @BokunoGunPLAs  3 роки тому +2

      Nothing much, since this is a pretty straight forward build. Just be extra careful with the hands and legs joint part, after painted they will become tight, and my arm broke off form the body because of this, I have to do some minor modify to fix it. If I would suggest, avoid from painting the joints, if you dont mind it in the original color

      @@BokunoGunPLAs I understood, another detail that I would like to clarify is the part with the colors - painting, eg how to protect the plastic, what we go through first before applying the final paint and finally how we will protect (for example with varnish for painting;) I ask because I have see difference about it so I end up more confused than I started

    • @BokunoGunPLAs
      @BokunoGunPLAs  3 роки тому +2

      @@MASTERSOT In case for protecting the plastic, you dont have to worry much. For the metallic painted parts, just top coat with a clear gloss top coat for protection, as well as give it a glossy finish. As for the skin and other parts, I didnt top coat on them, and I have no problem with it until now

    Hey I had a question. Would you recommend painting the body a sorta flat darker orange? If so what would you go as to make it more different from the digit armor?
    I’m thinking about making a mix red and orange or something like that. Total noob at this btw.
    Also I want to add shading to the claws, helm and greaves/toes.

    • @BokunoGunPLAs
      @BokunoGunPLAs  4 роки тому +2

      Well thats a great idea. Depends on how bright u want the main armor color to be, then ur skin color must be darker to show the contrast. For example, champagne gold has a brighter color, so the skin shud be darker, and rough gold is darker, so the skin shud be darker.
      For color mixing, i would suggest use yellow as base, add in red gradually to get the orange u want, by this way u can have a better control on what color u wish to have. Good luck!

    Quick question, if you were to paint the body parts as well what colour would u use as the base and for the finishing(for the orange and the white claws parts)

    • @BokunoGunPLAs
      @BokunoGunPLAs  2 роки тому +1

      I guess orange yellow will be a good choice for the skin, and semi-gloss or flat coat will be nice for the finishing

    Nice custom paint. love it!. Did you use primer surface first or you just straightaway use the colors that you had shown in the video?

    Hi I'm wondering what is the purpose of painting it black first before applying the other color? I'm new to custom painting and will appreciate your answer!

    • @BokunoGunPLAs
      @BokunoGunPLAs  3 роки тому +2

      To be exact, I painted the parts black before applying metallic colors. This is because the metallic colors will have a better metal color feel if painted on a gloss black surface. You might try using different color as the base color and paint metallic color on it, and compare the one using a gloss black surface. Then you can tell the difference there

    Hi, can I know the ratio of paint vs thinner you are using for the Modo & Jumpwind paint? Also the thinner brand if possible. Thanks.

    • @BokunoGunPLAs
      @BokunoGunPLAs  4 роки тому +2

      Modo = 1:3, Jumpwind = 1: 2 or 2.5, because jumpwind paints are less saturate than modo paints.
      For thinner I am using modo thinner, because of its generous amount of 1000ml, and can blend with any other brands such as jumpwind, gaianotes, or mr. hobby
