At the end I was expecting the kid to have a great putting stroke and instead it looks like he’s never touched a club in his life AND he’s using a full-size adult putter 😆
Thanks for the info! We are building a backyard course on our channel and this helps!
“Strong as concrete”
4:58 casually digs a hole😂
He's done a sneaky here and edited out himself having to eat through the concrete with one of those hard to use hole maker thingies!!
Perfect
A yep man. Cool
Beautiful, great job.this video is a big help for my next project 😊👍🏽
I guess no need to worry about drainage when it's a dust bowl....
Amazing!
Wow well done
Nice Garden Ideas!
so cool!!!
Nice!
I love golf that kid is lucky
"Yep" lol
He needs all the practice he can get with that stance…
BAWAHAHAH XD
Omg this kid never play golf before 😌
"we can land on the Sun, but only if we arrive at night." - Joe Blinden
Excellent 👍👍😊
how much did that all cost
Yep!
Instructions unclear, i accidentally built a basketball court
Oh wow the concrete, that's a great idea and alot cheaper than a stablizer
This is nice ! but they better started with putter fitted for the kid!
In English?
I want one for my backyard..
This is wholesome content 👌🏽
Yep
Good job
Super
I like your boots
I am a carpet guy. The first thing anyone does when laying carpet or turf like this, is to keep the carpet running in the same direction. It is clear from this video, the carpet was reversed after the one side was cut, and this is why you see two different colors or shades where the seam was made. Ouch!!! a very expensive mistake because you now have the nap or grain of the carpet running one way on one half the green and the other way on the other half. Big mistake right off the bat.
My green has no grain and it does not matter where you seam it. This product could be like that.
K K shhh. The know it all’s want to chirp. Yes. He’s completely wrong. This isn’t like laying Berber FFS.
What kind of tape you use to do the seam.
Is the green soft or hard. Will golf balls act like they would on a normal green if you persay hit it from 40 yards away or will it bounce off
Yep
yep
Yep
thanks for the video. I followed these instructions to a T, however the one I doubted after hitting it with the hose and wacker was the layer of dust. Against my better judgement, i added the thin layer of dust. The irony is you say it acts like icing on a cake to get rid of lumps and bumps, but by introducing it on top of the flat concrete like surface, it created lumps and bumps that would take forever to smooth out. I proved this by removing the dust on half the putting green, and leaving it on the other 1/2. The side with no dust looks smooth as can be, the dust side had tons of lumps and bumps. For anyone out there following this video, SKIP the Crusher dust step. It caused me to have to pull the carpet back remove and re do the whole nailing process. Good video otherwise
Hi Greg, I hope you get to see my reply.
I'm.going to make a golf putt too. When watching the video, I too thought laying down the crusher dust made no sense too and was thinking of avoiding it and then I saw your comment, so I'm definitely going to avoid that now.
Thanks for the heads up.
also, how did you go getting the puting green surface did they have it at Bunnings or did you have to go somewhere else?
All up, what would you say your budget was and how did it all turn out?
If you have any tips for me I'd love to hear them. Thank you.
Thank you for this tip. I also thought that step did not make sense. I’m almost finished…fingers crossed it turns out ok for miniature golf course for kids! Message meant for OP sorry
Hey great job what road base did you use because their is 2.2 2.3 and lots more
Do this for me I’m a ten yr old golfer
❤️!!! Can you come down to Florida & build one for my son & daughter?
If he can't, we are down here. ;)
@@smartsyntheticturfllc9485 hi, you supply this kind of putting green and finishing grass? Which state are you in?
I'm in Victoria.
Cheers.
Hobbies at home. Cheap investment that keeps you at home
You must of known plandemic lockdowns were coming lol
Nice. I do have one question though. Why didn't you run the nape of the grass/carpet the same way?
Yea looks like they forgot to put some sand on to keep the grass stand straight up. Haha sorry so late to this comment.
Good thing for Closed Captions...
How water resistant is it?
Yep man
Dig/
How many ton did you use
and the cost ?????
Is this Hawaii
This kid knows only one word : yeah
@2:28 A what kind of nail!?
How did u cut that cup through that cement?
I was hoping someone had asked this.
@@richhoops2413 was it pre cut?
@@fullblizzy1603 I don't know. Was waiting for a reply with an answer
@@richhoops2413 It's not cement and doesn't dry like cement like he said it did
Second mistake was cutting the holes out after the turf was laid. All the holes should have been marked and dug out prior to laying the turf in place. This way you can smooth out the area around the cup without the turf being in the way. This is not the way to put a putting green in place. I see problems with this putting green around the cup and just in general with the way the turf was installed.
I was wondering how he cut that cup lol
if u are looking for a cheaper option just buy the grass of gumtree and by as much as you can online
Gum tree? Would be good Sir? Thanks
Gumtree isn’t available to everyone
Why would it be cheaper?
I thought he said the dirt will dry like concrete but when he put the hole in he just dug out a hole in the so called dirt as hard as concrete
Nick Thomas yep
I work on golf course and I asked that same question
They've clearly edited out showing them using the big hand held hole maker....sneaky of them.
Brilliant design, would have been easier and faster using a mini excavator 😀
6 Axis Build Pty Ltd yep
So I'm thinking that wth the turf alone it will cost about $200-$250 and for the sand it will be about $50. Two hole with flags will be about $120. The foundation would cost about $80-$100 and then add the plants. All in all you are looking at between $450 and $520 not including labor or moving of the elements. For $520 you get a small but usable green with a terribly unusable bunker and some holes that look like they are risen up out of the ground. I don't think so.
Hayden M. พี่
Hayden M. Lmao I was thinking the same thing
I downvoted as well since i saw no fringe and plants around the edge of the green. What in the...
That means i would charge you $2500 if it costs $500 in materials...
josda1000 you want a fringe for a back yard green on the cheap? GTFO
Where is the kid's water trap?
5:06 I thought the dog was a rock
Yep
please I want to learn how to do it
Mate ...lol
So he has gray and black socks...
I love the Aussies, but dang this vid needs English subtitles....
OR you could just but the mower all the way down and save heaps of money LOL
4:12😂😂
Lol this kids stance and stroke idk but he doesn’t seem like he’s very good
Nick did u even watch the video it specifically says that it’s for the kid
Nick idk why u have to come at me bro was just pointing something out. U seem really belligerent for something so petty chill dude.
He’s a kid dumass. Takes a special kind of dick to even make that comment.
That kid is shy as hell.
So he's a kid calm down
yep.
He's just a kid?
He’s a neat kid, neat video too!
plans from woodprix are awesome!

The guy says ok that will be 700 $ Mum grrr uhhh 😦🤭
Are your kidding ? The cost must be closer that 7000 eur than 700 believe me
he is not putting corectlly
Dj Matthias your not spelling correctly
Hamza Naveed you aren’t either 😂😂
Jackson Linton which word did I misspell?
Hamza Naveed you spelled “your” when it should be “you’re”
I wanna hire you mate
That is one of the worst installed synthetic greens, I hope no one follows these instructions as there will be many failures down the road.
Thomas Ziegan well it's better than a dust bowl
GolfCountry I’d rather the dust bowl
Can you elaborate? My goodness man, it’s easy to criticize. It takes a bit more to provide a counter. Don’t be lazy.
banklikefrankwhite1 who you talking too??
banklikefrankwhite1 for starters, it’s very loosely installed, which can cause water and air to make pockets under it. They also forgot to add silica sand sprinkled onto the green, so it will pool up water. Finally, when it rains, the hole will fill with water. I would have personally put some sort of compacted dirt instead of leaving it alone, made tunnels and added corrugated tubing that slopes to a drainage point at a corner of the lawn.
No, saying you're kidding boy needs to learn how to earn what he wants.
I'm calling bullshit, thats a horrible stance
Does the kids know how to speak. Or is he a mute
What’s it like being a total douche asshole critiquing a shy little boy?
This guy has no clue what he’s doing.
kids form is AWFUL
