The scene with Jerry getting directions from his dad is so familiar and spot on! I can remember many times, visiting older relatives in their cities, sitting at a table, getting directions to get where I was going.

The stereotype about old folks eating dinner at like 430 is totally true. My grandparents literally set the table for dinner right after lunch. You could walk into the house at like 2 and it looks like dinner could be served at any moment lol

I never properly understood the heater thing until I got older, moved out, then came back to visit my parents...apparently something happens once you hit 70 where if the temperature in your house dips below 95 degrees, you'll freeze to death (and you somehow need to jack up your water heater to the point that the shower is just below the boiling point).
It's funny because my sister absolutely hates him. I think of you hate a character, the actor/actress are doing a fantastic job. I wish he had at least a few more episode appearances.
The poetry of how it reflects the sons and daughters of two immigrant Jewish groups and their cultural differences.. those that have socialist leanings (and are usually poorer) and those who love America and enjoy this life and want to be a part of it.
What I loved about the parents' generation is that they stopped in the 70s on fashion. We've got too many old people now wearing modern clothes. "It's unheard of."
