Watch this interview and you'll see that Milos Karadaglic already has the composure, the confidence and the easy charm of a movie star, which may horrify classical music purists. But all you have to do is listen to him play to realize he's more than a poster boy for the classical guitar. He's smart, self-deprecating, funny, and a sensitive, gifted musician. His fingers are fast, and his intonation is perfect.
As Milos tells "Quick Hits" reporter Marco Werman, his discovery of his musical gift coincided with the wars in the Balkans in the 1990s. Those conflicts didn't engulf his native Montenegro as much as other parts of the region. But he still came to see music as a sanctuary and as a universal language, with the power to soothe, to excite, and to unite.

We went to see Milos at the weekend at our local theatre. My husband loves guitar, I just went along to keep him company, I like guitar but I don't play. WOW was I blown away, I am a total convert, And I consider myself privleged to hear him play, it was absolutely beautiful like him. He had the all audience in a trance, not one word was spoken. absolute silence. I never knew how many sounds could come out of 1 instrument. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. If you get the chance to see him GO. FANTASTIC !

Well he also wanted to learn to sing and play guitar. I have watched the documentary on him back in the days I used to take guitar lessons.

This interview is proof that he's not merely a very gifted guitar player.

I loved this interview! Milos is so handsome and talented, but he plays it down. He is extraordinarily humble, basically saying he had nothing to do with how he was made. Very refreshing, when there are so many talented people stuck on themselves!

I think hes a really good guitarist and a fine musician, but I cant say I like his choice of repertorie. All the cheese if you know what I mean.

He is a very good player, but nothing extraordinary to deserve all this attention they are giving him. There are far too many better players than him both musically and technically.
