One of the blessings of homeschooling is being able to schedule the way that works best for your family. I love hearing that you guys have found that afternoons work better than mornings for you and are comfortable going with that.
We schooled after lunch in the afternoon last year it was really helpful now we are back to mornings. I love the flexibility of homeschool schedules. Great seeing a look at your homeschool schedule 😊
We do much better in the afternoons/evenings as well! We have speech/music/spanish schedules earlier in the day m-f so it works well waiting until we’ve got the better part of our day behind us lol
We do this sometimes as well to shake things up. But often times I need the group work as an incentive to get the individual work done. LOL. Thanks for sharing!
I thought we homeschool so we can fit learning into our families way of life!!! We aren’t morning ppl and surfing is all that can happen in the morning so we do PE in the morning and it’s a requirement for us in our state!!! My high schooler’s day ends late at night!!! I don’t care tho!!! They are doing independent work at night!!! When we travel we get up earlier for comps and my older kids have the choice!!! We have a loose schedule as well!!! My kids have never gone top - bottom on their checklists!!!

I’m a night owl as well because I usually come home from work around 10pm, but I do have to do school in the morning. My sons attention is better then
My husband is a morning person, the rest of the family luckily is not. LOL
