In Today's video we go over How YOU Can Fund YOUR Boss Mule WITHOUT Carries in maplestory reboot. I go over what gear you should be using on boss mules and what the alternatives to gollux and absolab gear in maplestory reboot! If there is anything you think should be added, let us know!

The only replacement for the Condensed Power Crystal face accessory is the sw tattoo or twilight mark :c Pap mark is an eye accessory, just like the black bean mark for some reason
Another alternative i've found is the ranamru gear (boots, glove, should, cape) also he's relatively easy to beat on a mule
You can 17 star them all, they're transferrable to absolab and the set effect is.. alright(?)
I am currently testing this method and here's what I've found:
Pros:
Shoulder, Cape, Gloves, Boots, and Weapon all transfer easily into abso gear
Loss set effect when switching to CRA gear is eclipsed by CRA's set effect and base stats
Significantly stronger than Von Leon/Penslair gear
Don't have to flame them since their flames suck (lol)
Can take as little as a week to finish the set with good RNG
Easy to get dupes in case they boom going to 17-18*
You can skip on getting the weapon since getting the Commerci weapon is better even taking into account set effects (should only take 2-3 days of voyages after finishing the quest)
You can leave any gear you plan on transferring at Epic potential if you want to save on cubes
Possibility to upgrade weapon with Akechi coins for big gains (abso weapon stats and + 2 set effect) if your mule isn't quite strong enough to kill lomien
Easier to start doing CRA from higher gear base stats
Cons:
Hat and Overall don't transfer to CRA
Belt will eventually be replaced with PB/Gollux and won't transfer
Commerci weapon doesn't transfer to abso or Akechi
It can take a month to finish the set with bad RNG (it took me about 2.5 weeks with 140% drop rate from fam, IA, greed pendant, and coupon)
No flame advantage on the gear
Reduces boss set effects from not wearing magnus shoulder and PB belt
Losing Unique/Legendary lines on transfer to abso
Akechi weapon takes ~10 weeks to get (1-4 coins/week), doesn't transfer to abso gear, no flame advantage.
It's a bit of a mixed bag, but I like the novelty of it and may use it on more mules depending on how it feels approaching lomien runs
As someone that has fund over 20+ bossing mules without “carries” :
- The level 150 gear at 17* helps a lot cuz the moment you can do Lotus , you just transfer once you can solo him. (Zak Cape , RA boots and Shoulder , Magnus gloves)
- Utgard gear at 17* when you are trying to solo CRA it works for the first 3 doors , it takes longer but its fine. Also you can transpose from Utgard to RA gear very easily
- You can also do Hard Gollux and its way more easier than Hellux , and it drops reinforce belt and earrings which are still great
- Also the “set of bosses” is pretty underrated , it gives you attack , PdR and boss damage and something is something. I usually have the mechanical dom pendant + chaos ht pendant.
- The event rings is a huge boost for the bossing mules , I usually just pick up 3 of them (Cosmos , SS ring and Reboot avenge ring) , not the best ones but better than nothing
- Now that symbols got A LOT MORE CHEAPER TO upgrade , its a good time to do weeklies and dailies on mules. I usually park my mules on 220 but some of them i push them to 225.
- Now , all of this takes time and you wont be able to do it from one week to another , its a process but its rewards are big.
How much meso for 17*?
@@orlandoburgos2523 Depends on your luck but I 17 star on the super star force event of 30% + 5-10-15. Not sure what is the average but for me it took me less than 1b per equip to push to 17 star during the event. Some of the equips even took less than 400m iirc.

@@orlandoburgos2523 Thats the way to go at first. This is because going up to Cvel-Hmag bencmarks are easier , and you from Chaos PB to Cvel it yields 715m weekly , and it can take around 15-20 mins depending on nodes and gear but its generally faster. While Lomien + Akechi is a lot longer if you wanna push it lol

I think another really important aspect to consider is time; as in how much time do you have to commit to running your boss mules and how long does it take your mules to clear their weeklies. First, your mules will be able to kill bosses and that's step 1. Then, it probably becomes a matter of how much mesos/nodestones/additional time do you have/want to spend on this mule which is probably somewhat influenced by your current weekly income and how many mules you're working on. For example, a mule that's capable of doing up to 4 door CRA absolutely does not need gollux or absos to clear, but you may shave off 5-10 minutes that can be allocated to another/more mules. Just some bigger picture things to think about since most people aren't going to have just 1 mule.
So true. Nodes are the biggest damage buff you need that can replace boss damage early on. They make a weak character hits double or even triple his damage.
@@lukashenrique4295honestly the balance I’ve been working out in my head is this:
1. Inherent skill damage/utilities (yes nodes will directly benefit this but knowing added crit%, crit dmg, boss dmg, IED, etc is really helpful)
2. Boost/skill node levels (including node slots and slot enhancements)
3. WSE Potentials
4. Main stat (mostly influenced by arcane force is how I think of it and also for mobbing purposes)
5. Overall Gear (base stats, set effects, potentials, Star force)
6. Comfort/experience with the class
Depending on the class, 1 of those things may have to be disproportionately invested to balance the others. From my own experience, BT needed a fair amount more of most of those things whereas Bucc needed very little by comparison.
6:38 pap mark is a eye accessory not face so there is no really alternative for face on a boss mule

Btw I think the dominator pendant is instanced. I tried carrying my friend a while back and it dropped but he couldn't see it.
I just use hyperburns for boss mules, works fine as someone who doesn't have a lot of time
just for u to know, u can transfer ur weeklies coins in ur accounts, makes the farm a little faster if not cutting it in half

is there any reason why someone wouldnt make like 12 boss mules of the same class? Does it hurt your legion or is there some other reason that people dont do that?
you don't get the legion effect from the same character twice EX: if you had 12 shadowers you would only get the "legion block effect" once
Pap mark is eye accessory, face is still gonna be zakum, or SW if you're bothered
Japanese gear is a great sub for abso gear,. The boss is easy and it drops alot
I am not too sure about this strategy, but the best-case scenario is that you actually do every single quest in Commerce to obtain a full set of sweetwater gears and replace it later? It takes sometimes but really worth it?

Can't you just solo hardlux? It's so easy my 1.5m range khali with meh nodes solos just fine
How do you look that green aura?
In the options, there is a laboratory tab and when bossing, you can change your outline. you can change between 4 options and outline thickness.

Man Hard Gollux is easy to do... with 6k you can be able to do it and get reinforced set... just need a good amount of time to do it

Just get hands people. IMO solo progression early game up til you can 6 man lucid and will is fun! You really learn a bosses mechanics and your classes mechanics. Recently started a solo progression with a NL was soloing nlomien within a month. Just takes practice and patience my friends. GL ❤

@@voxii_13 just an fyi I’ve done with multiple classes since then. Hayato and ark. But clearing up to Nlucid solo. So yes, weather class is busted or mechanically difficult. GET HANDS 🤥

@@voxii_13 please explain to me how you don’t need understanding of any boss mechanics and understanding your classes movement and attack windows doesn’t apply to in the game? No matter what class you play. You can go into a boss fight overly funded for that specific boss and just blow it up. There’s only a handful of classes that have a good survivability kit allowing you to ignore some boss mechanics.
Also in pretty sure you’re not taking rocks to the head or ignoring the dragon that lucid summons in p1 or face tanking wills pushes in p2 and p3. So let’s not act like having timing and knowledge of a boss doesn’t play a factor into the game
@@josephlugo3537 I said hands. Having hands is different from understanding mechanics. You can know how a boss works and still not have hands to do it.
You're now talking about two different things. You have to know mechanics, you don't have to have hands. It's pretty simple really, and blows my mind you don't know that.
They removed Water of Life for pets in the Reward shop.. :/ What even.
