Do Deleuze and Guattari Want You to be Schizophrenic? | Deleuze and Guattari Concept in Focus

In this lecture, I'd like to explain the common misconception that Deleuze and Guattari advocate for you literally becoming schizophrenic. This is an admittedly fair surface-level reading of their work, solely because they have a very creative and oftentimes confusing writing style, but it is an incorrect assumption. I will explain how they establish the notion of schizophrenia as a counter to Freudian and certain Lacanian strands of psychoanalysis. Enjoy!
