One thing I always admire about when Josie goes out is that she always thinks about something that Charlie would like. Long time watcher here, and Josie has done this even before they moved to the Cotswolds and I love it. The caring concern for family is so second nature to Josie and the entire family and you can since the love between them. ❤❤❤
Josie Darling. Just letting you know Zaatar has been around in the Middle East for centuries. It's a Middle eastern spice. If you like that spice palette then you should try Palestinian, Turkish, Egyptian, Lebanese, Moroccan etc food.
What I love about you Josie is that you are consistent and while some bloggers fall off the trail you deliver and it is always hopeful, informative and relatable. I want to thank you for what you have brought to me and others and we appreciate the work and effort and time you put in to your blogs. x
Hello again Josie, love your vlogs, sensible, straight forward, fresh, intelligent, not over the top.... Your personal presentation and styling are subtle, sophisticated, very subtle and polished makeup applications well balanced. I really enjoy and respect yours and Charlies occupation with health and wellness keeping alcohol to reasonable limits nothing in your lifestyle is overdone , ridiculous or extravagant silly , just very nice, fresh, realistic, inspiring and attainable❤🎉. Love your latest flower pressing and decision to also focus attention on Cotswold places of interest as part of cultural presentation. Both you and Charlie are so well balanced ...just very refined , exceptionally well put together and presented with skill and subtle. Very nice indeed. I feel happy and relaxed to watch all your content , warmth, good healthy cooking, gorgeous cosy charming Cotswold home do lovingly restored and Dixie and Dickens. Many best wishes again ongoing to you both Josie and Charlie. Ruth Thomson , west London
Oh Josie, I am SO happy that you liked my little celebratory package for my book! Doesn’t the candle smell divine! You looked beautiful in all of the dresses by the way. Such a ray of sunshine! Much love, Paula xxx
I love all your videos with the combination of gardening, cooking, life with Charlie and the boys plus the fashion. It’s been interesting seeing how you’ve evolved but for me the videos have a bit of everything in them which holds my interest and often inspire me. Please don’t change the format ❤️
I LOVE all the different sides to your personality Josie!! Yes originally I started to follow you in London for fashion and beauty but your move to the Cotswolds has me absolutely hooked to your channel now. I throughly enjoy watching fitness, fashion, beauty, cooking but most of all the beauty of your greenhouse and garden. Regular trips to Daylesford and Burford are the best. Please don’t change the format. I have travelled all a round the Cotswolds since your move there and treasure every visit. Thank you for sharing 🥰 xx
So enjoy when you include your mom in your videos. She is so cute modeling that hat and gorgeous jacket. Unfortunately I no longer have my mother, but still remember shopping and great lunches with her.
I would like to correct you on something regarding za’taar it’s an herb which is found in every Middle Eastern home predominately Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. It’s (the za’taar plant) harvested from the mountains and laid to dry than grounded with spices like simak and sesame seeds. Traditionally it’s eaten for breakfast with olive oil (dipping the bread into olive oil then in za’taar). Would love to send you some.
Yes thank you for clarifying. Palestinians were using zataar since the 12th century. Also falafel, hummus, kunaffa, shawarma are not Israeli they’re been in the Middle East looooong before the establishment of israel in 1948.
Exactly on that note, i will be sharing a middling eastern fusion recipe using Zataar (Zaatar omelet). You add three spoons of olive oil with Zataar until it’s a liquid texture , then add three eggs and u fry them. Then add mozzarella or any type of cheese u like and flip it and leave it a bit on the pan for the cheese to melt … u will be hooked . I will not repeat what the rest have said about the origins of Zataar as you get the idea but you will never ever go to an Arab home and not find it , it’s in our DNA!
Every piece of lovely spring clothing looked fabulous on you! So nice to get to see your darling Mum for your shopping trip. Happy Spring dear Ladies :)
@@Maniemac79 that's not how it works - there are food hygiene laws that must be adhered to by anyone selling food to the public, and there's no 'grace' period allowed. Someone as famous as Ottolengi wil be very aware of this. I wouldn't buy cakes and salads which have been sitting uncovered like that.
Hi Josie! Just wanted to echo what a few others were saying about za’atar - it’s a Palestinian spice that was used long before the establishment of Israel and is now a staple in most Middle Eastern kitchens. It’s really important to clarify this as Israel is trying to steal Palestinian cuisine and culture as well as its land. Love watching your videos! ❤
Such a beautiful array of dresses and I love all of them. So special to spend the day with your mum. Bicester Village has lots of great places to shop and the flower displays were exceptional. Food looked fabulous, can I just say your Mac and Cheese looks more appetising. Thank you for sharing ❤
Hello Josie, I have been watching your videos since November of last year I really enjoy them you are so lovely I watched the video where you show how you make your Mac and cheese looks amazing and you look stunning in your dresses wishing you and Charlie a beautiful summer.
My darling Josie, you haven't changed....you're the same darling in the Cotswolds as you were back in London....and anywhere on the planet:because that's true authentic Josie ....you're just simply adopting to your environment !!!! Warms my heart to see you making memories with your mum!!!💗
Yea that orange dress needed those fancy earrings since is so plain. I have similiar belted floral dress you showed w/the long sleaves. Have seen it w/scenes of Paris too is cool.
Hi Josie just to let you know Zatar origins date as far back as the 12th century (long before Israel which is 78 years old) it’s origins are from Palestine and the Levant area Syria, Lebanon, Jordan. I’m Syrian and zataar his been used by my great great grandma and before….. long before the establishment of Israel. It’s very important to clarify this as Palestinian culture and cuisine is being stolen as well as their land. Zataar is Palestinian and has been since the 12th century as are kanafa falafel shawarma… etc.
Your New dressers wauw 🤩 you looked Amazing in them josie 💕. What a lovely day together with your mum .dispite being a place to buy luxury goods a bit cheaper ,the prices still seem expensive . .Great to see what they had to offer, some very fancy shoes ,bright colours 😅. Your Food looked very tasty but wow very pricey 🫣 Have a great weekend 🥰
Omg the Ombré Pink Le Creuset!!! It’s funny I have a few small pieces donated to me…and I can’t for the life of me figure out why I scratch them 🤷♀️ What a wonderful outlet! I have nothing like that near me! 😢
Zattar is an arabic word and a middle eastern , including Palestinian spice- not a hebrew word and not Israeli. Ottolengi often uses Palestinian food and spices in his dishes
Josie darling, people should not be pigeon-holed into being "One Thing" l... Human beings are the top of the food chain... We have "Free Will" therefore, we get to do & be whatever we choose!!! "Short Sighted", Unimaginative, Limited individuals shouldn't have power over those of us who are blessed with "Broad Vision", Imagination & Limitless Ideas😊❤🕊️👼🏾
Your father in-laws party was lovely. Charlie's family is so classy!!!❤ Love seeing your beautiful mom!❤When can we meet your brother and his clan? We see them hit and miss occasionally.😊Miss seeing Charlie, too! I hope he returns soon.
If you’re looking for a backpack rucking I would consider getting one with a hip strap that goes round your waist that evens out the weight and go for one that made to hold the weight otherwise you can injure yourself from the weight I’m sure you looked hard enough you’ll find a glamorous bag like that just giving a advice to be kind
Really loved the blouse! Also. love the 2 Karen Millers dresses. Print is stunning! I would get #1 in maxi length when they come out. Sorry Josie but HATED ALL THE HATS! Please consider not getting any. Great Vlog and looking forward to your next.
I Love seeing your Mom. She's so classy!!

Absolutely agree! ❤
LL looked fabulous in that cream Maxmara jacket ❤
Zatar is actually Palestinian. Otelangie uses many middle eastern inspired ingredients like burgul (turkish), tahini (egyptian)
So enjoy when you include your mom in your videos. She is so cute modeling that hat and gorgeous jacket. Unfortunately I no longer have my mother, but still remember shopping and great lunches with her.
Just love your mum she's fun. That orange dress was stunning on you girl xxx
I must say watching your videos is pretty refreshing because it is like reading a Home and garden magazine with a bit of fashion.

I was gonna say the same thing

Wow, you look lovely in orange! Very flattering ❤
I can’t believe those cakes and pastries in Ottolenghi had no protective covering over them, one sneeze or tiny fingers would be all over them!
Disgusting!
I like to see a good old fashioned hairnet , tongs and recyclable disposable gloves x 😊🤣😁
I would say that's a tenuous grasp of food safety. Gross.
It is newly opened. Probably an oversight by new staff wanting to show off the beautiful produce. Josie and Lala enjoyed a superb lunch xxx ❤
