Goodness. This has got to be the most beautiful version of "If I Can't Love Her" I've ever heard. Barbour's rich baritone voice fits this song flawlessly.

He was my favorite Broadway musical theater star for so many years. The summer this show opened I was fortunate enough to see him in it, and talk to him at the stage door afterward. He never disappoints.

It's def Barbour. They for sure have similar voices, I couldn't tell who it was until the chorus began! They both have a rich and deep quality in their voices, but Mann has a ever so slight pop like quality in his voice, it's a slightly thinner timbre with less vibrato and a fluttery one at that, which makes sense considering the slight pop quality, and he tends to fall off his phrases, which normally I would throw things if I heard that from anyone else, but for whatever reason I don't mind it from Mann! Every singer has a quirk in their voice that makes them recognizable, and that happens to be Mann's funny little quirk! Barbour has more of natural vibrato that's less fluttery (there is a term for this, I'm just an idiot and forget what it is) and has a bit larger and rounder timbre with the more 'woof' behind it, you know, like the bottom speaker of a set of speakers, lovingly called the 'woofer'? It's that woofy bass that gives the rest of what's easier to hear from the other speakers the 'oomf' behind it. Plus Barbour has more ease in his higher higher range than Mann. But I do love them both :):)

Ok. Terrance Mann is amazing. Just a list of some of the characters he's played on stage. Javert (Les Miserables), Dr. Frank N. Furter (Rocky Horror Picture Show) and Beast (Beauty & The Beast). That's versatility.

This is James Barbour. He's great. This is absolutely not Terry... For some reasons I have the recording of this piece, and James' timbre of voice is slightly thinner than Terry's. James is a baritone and terry a bass baritone.

James Barbour in Los Angeles, Mann had just left the role. Barbour was the only "replacement" that I saw that I could plausibly see as the OBC version, and people who hadn't seen Mann didn't see what he could have done better. I saw both at the Shubert in Los Angeles, I worked there, I will stick with Mann, but just because.

It's not Terry Mann. 100% James Barbour. Barber has a richer, darker, more even tone throughout his vocal register. That said, I've seen both numerous times on stage, Barbour's vocal technique is much more refined but Mann is a far superior actor.
