I have this and it's awesome for a plug and play setup. I have several high dollar tube amps and cabs. This one makes me equally happy to play. If you need an easy rig you can throw in your guitar case and setup in a few seconds you won't be disappointed. It sounds great!
@@gram440a It does leads just fine. I've got a Fortin Meshuggah and Cali and Orange Brent Hinds Terror so definitely not a stranger to responsive amps. It's got enough options to do just about anything with the boost and other effects. Using it as a practice headphone amp or into the front of a real one has been pretty fun. I got the T21 Doug Pinnick flyboard/amp in a pedal too and it's just as great. Ola Englund did a video demo of 3 of their guitar fly rigs worth checking out. A good option if modelers are too option heavy and complex and you don't want to mess with menus and presets for hours and just set some knobs and play.
Last year in December I wanted to buy rk5 fly rig, but wasn't on stock...in February I saw this and...ordered😍...than I realized again that everything has a scope in life...
In case someone's not interested in flame throwers, is there a flyrig that comes with Paul for sale? (asking for a friend). Btw Paul's guitar sound is beyond awesome. Smashed with that tube amps' one of Richard is where Rammstein's "magic" begins.
Und das funktioniert wirklich auch bei live Gigs? Ich habe ein normales Effektboard mit Boss Pedalen. U. A. Delay und Vibrato. Das wäre ne platzsparende Idee. Man wird ja auch nicht jünger und die Amps nicht leichter.
@@Tech21nyc why am I just now stumbling upon this masterpiece of technology? How have I missed this? This video is 3 damn years old...wait a sec...just ordered this off Amazon. I can't wait, everything you need on one piece of gear. I love that
Thanks for asking. You have several choices. Into the front of an amp, into the effects return (bypassing the pre-amp section of your amp), direct into a PA (or both PA and amp simultaneously) and direct to studio mixing desk or computer. don't know the 'sonicake', but the Fly Rigs I've played with/through (the RK V.1 and this Paul Landers one, mainly) are incredibly flexible, tone-y and usable/useful, really among the best guitar amp/FX units anyone's ever put out for anything close to their size/form factor, price points, etc. (I've played for decades, have got a pretty good tube amp collection and have done both live and studio sound, so I know something about the history, and 'competition' in this area)
lol, you can clearly see that there isn't any pedal in front of him on stage, and I would highly suspect that any guitar player in that league presses any button himself anyway ;)
who the fuck cares, rock to the music or get the fuck out. this is Rammstein we're talking about, not a boy band. nobody gives a fuck what the logo looks like as long as the gear itself shreds.
This is the most fucking amazing advertisement clip I ever saw.
Weil Paul es präsentiert:)
Most badass advertisement ever. I WANT THIS.
Brilliant video. Paul is fantastic.
Amazing advertisement and amazing pedal! I am absolutely in love with it - Simply gives me pure joy every time I use it! *R+ Fur Immer!*
What’s it cost? I’m curious about the Rammfire amp modelling software.
Does it come with the flame thrower attachment for guitar? Now that would be worth the price tag if it did.
This unit produces epic tones clean and distorted. ✌️

How does it do with high-gain leads? Can I shred with it? I have a GT2, and it fights me.

@@gram440ait’s good but the sustain just isn’t there even though it has no noise gate boosting the front just messes it up doesn’t help with it either

That's pretty sick!
This looks awesome
Apart of this flyrig, will Tech21 also release the flamethrowers (1:04) that can be connected to the guitar? 😉
Ha! We actually thought of that, but too much red tape with shipping. :-)
Give us an Oli Riedel pedal please. I’ll buy it.
He's using the Bass Driver D.I. beside of his amps... ; )
Amazing!!!!
I have this. It’s basically like Rammstein is in your living room with fire.

Yes, absolutely. It is designed for live use direct to the PA or with an amp (or both simultaneously) as well as in the studio for direct recording.

@@thedozeroperatorman Better late than never, as they say. Thanks for choosing the Paul Landers PL1!
When you come for guitar content and see the Navitimer in the first shot :D
On some concert from 2019 I (believe) saw near mic support this pedal...I'm really asking myself now, he really use this life?
Check this one: ua-cam.com/video/wl3G0uXf7lY/v-deo.html
There's a photo of him using a GT2 for the making of LIFAD, it's in the Madison Square Garden documentary
@@gram440a Yes, that was 2009 - the PL1 got launched in 2018 : )
@@SoundServiceGmbH thank you. My question was about live show where can be seen Pl 1. I believe was wienn 2019 where I saw near mic support the fly :)
@@SunRise-tf2fw We don't know about the mic but we definately know that Paul is going direct since the beginning (PSA-1, GT-2 & PL1)
So can this go straight into an amp just like a standard pedal or does it only go into a software?

How much is it?
about 399 EUR
Super 👉🤘👌
Does anyone else here not know jack shit about guitar gear, and are just here to watch Paul? LOL
Some shots in this ad seem to be made purely for such people;)
It looks like a expensive version of the sonicake, which is a $100 eBay effect pedal.
Let's put it this way ... Sonicake looks like a cheap Fly Rig copy : )

Хочу такую себе. Но пока цена в 30к вызывает лишь жабу
Ya I’m sure he uses this on stage. Hahah
I looked into it, apparently the one he uses on stage is the GT2...which is about half the price.
He did use this on stage, and still continues to.
What did you do with the Rammstein logo? That looks awful.
Boii, you need some glasses if you think it looks bad in anyway.
Look at the difference.
