If this shoe had a Vibram sole, it would be the best Trail shoe and one of the best shoes Nike has ever made! I still love it as it is, haven't sliped yet.

@cebrium thanks for watching 🙏 Yeh I mean we learn from the best and it was best described by a Nike rep at a shoe conference. He explained it in great detail and us shoeys love that detail. I’ve literally worn these to pieces even travelling on holidays. Just a great all rounder

Hi Christine, thank you for watching. Personally I love both. I guess your procrastination may be similar to mine and my advice would be if you’re doing road to trail then definitely go for the Pegasus over the speedgoat. Speedgoats are more trail specific and the lugs on the heel wear out pretty quickly if used on tarmac too much. In terms of goretex material, I have the Pegasus trail 4s in the goretex in two colourways and to be honest I’ve never had too much troubles with breathability. In fact, they are a breathable as the statement of waterfproof doesn’t quite live up to the hype. That was on the 4s, I’m yet to test the 5s in goretex. Thanks again 🙏
Hi Clair, firstly big thank you for watching. Saucony ironically I haven’t had the pleasure of even trying yet. I did eye a pair in Singapore recently but never tried. I know they are pretty durable so longevity will be great 👌🏽 the drop is a bit less so that transition may not feel as good, however I understand they are on sale atm and at that price it’s a steal 💯
The grip is actually pretty good. Nike finally use new rubber in outsole. If you slip, it is more because of the sole is so soft. Great shoe, the best Pegasus Trail. But not for tecnical trails, it is too soft (not stable). Still this is the shoe that I run 99% of my runs. It is awesome!
