I am at rank 14 and my average normal score is nearing 49.8k, hard above diamond average, and 93k extreme average. Yet, I have no DP's on anything. I've been trying countless normal songs like Circles, The Business, and Latch, but yet I always end up one perfect+ away from DPing. Any tips? And no, I'm not worrying about any hold tricks currently, as I will pick songs without those needed so far, so that's not the issue. After hearing all this, what do you think I should do? (Tricks or Specific Songs to do for my first DP)
Eventually probably, not sure when I’ll get around to recording it. It’s really annoying to attempt to grind out a recording when time boxed without unlimited play.
Mhmm I did the same, the explanation I gave in the video is why. In the case of Believer it’s the double rail hold swipes at ~65,500 that are the culprit.

Yup! It’s not that that chart is “bugged” per se it’s the entire rail and switch hold swipes mechanic in ANY chart where they show up.

Yup! Bad romance is particularly notorious but any Deluxe chart with multiple Rail or Switch hold swipes will do it 😅
