Legendary and ICONIC Timeless GLOBAL SUPREME Singer of All Times in Music History!!!!... Now a Unique Queen of LasVegas for her Magnificient Contribute on Show Business of MUSIC INDUSTRY!!.. 🌹❤️💎👑
I love her voice in the 80’s. Much less nasal. Was it the vocal Injury or implementing ‘the mask’ technique to become international that marked the change in her sound? Or both maybe
she has become nasal especially when she sings the notes of the 4th octave, I find that on the middle notes C5/D5/EB5/E5 she is not very nasal... her very constriction allows her to perform acrobatics, and sounds varied
@Cmc995 If I had to guess, a mixture of both. After the injury, she probably had to switch to a lighter coordination in order to still maintain her range. It might have been difficult for her to actually execute an m1 belt up to the F5 after the injury. Thats probably why she struggled in the studio with david foster on All By Myself F5 belt. But 80s celine was, to me, her at her absolute best.
Amazing and diverse collection of Celine 80's notes!! If I may, I would want to suggest some, like the F#5 on les bleus du businessman in 1988: ua-cam.com/video/oUMC0W6YNy8/v-deo.html (in 2:48) And one of my favourite E5s of hers, in this video: ua-cam.com/video/19W-34XigYo/v-deo.html (in 2:51)
The purple/pink looking clips (singing DCQL, PJTV, and another song) from 1987ish with her in the white blazer/skirt (Eurovision style) are scattered throughout this documentary ua-cam.com/video/zZ3G1ONM2ZA/v-deo.html
So legend!
She supports so much back then
I know, sometime she sounded so different.

@@ilovemovies725 she did have a vocal injury though. I’m guessing that had to change something
