Both! I don't mind a canned biscuit every now and then but growing up we always had cat head biscuits here in Kentucky so I'll make those and I always love to try out a new biscuit recipe.
This sounds wonderful! I’m making these for Easter but...the video says 1 cup sour cream and the recipe says 2 cups. Which is correct? The container in the video looks like a 16 oz. Can’t wait to try these!!
I actually had a one cup carton of sour cream that needed to be used before the expiry date today, so made a batch of these yesterday. They are light and DELICIOUS! Try them with a bite of jam or honey. Soooo good!
So years ago when I was a kid I tried to learn how to make biscuits, when my grandmother was there showing me they came out perfect, the two attempts I made after didn’t come out so well though. Think hockey pucks. Lol. This recipe has inspired me to try again 30 years later. Fingers crossed!
Why in the video are you using one, 80z. tub sour cream, which is less than one cup, but on the link you posted, it says for the recipe to use two cups of sour cream???
I literally heard my arteries hardening when Paula added two sticks of butter😂. I usually use one stick of butter and 8 oz of sour cream per cup of flour and they’re pretty rich using that ratio. I can only imagine how they may taste with two sticks of butter being used.. I might try this recipe 😬
OMG!!! You are using a bowl from the Pyrex set my mother had. That set always made the best food. Mom always used the green one to make pie crust. She made her crust by eye. It was always good. 😊💞🤟🙏🎉😘
Yes. Just add baking powder and salt depending on how much flour you're using. I found this Google. 1. For every cup of self-rising flour called for in your recipe, measure flour carefully. You want 1 level cup (125 grams) all-purpose flour. 2. Add 1½ teaspoons (6 grams) baking powder and ¼ teaspoon (1 gram) kosher salt.
Anytime you use a recipe that relies on the _'imperial system'_ to measure flour & salt, you've got a 50% chance _(or better)_ of a *DISASTER.* Paula? I can understand. _She's not exactly a spring chicken,_ but Sunny? She's young enough to know better!
Do you usually use canned biscuits or make your own?

This sounds good. I'll have to try them. I just had a Sour Cream Biscuit and Peach Jam ice cream. So good.
Added to the Easter menu 😋
Happy April Fool’s Day 4.1.21. Big FAN of both y’all AND Biscuits 🥰💕🙏
I’m SO making these....🙏🙌💕
Looks easy enough for me to make. I still haven't mastered the southern biscuits. Haha
Love this :) Anything with butter and sour cream is always good! Love your show and channel!

I made a batch of these yesterday, and they really are very easy and VERY delicious!
These are the best. Sometimes I add sugar, dried cranberries, and sprinkle with coarse sugar to make scones.
This Sour Cream Butter Biscuits recipe looks so delicious Paula and Sunny.
What a good name for Sunny! She seems to have a "sunny" personality.
I just love Sunny Anderson!
Another delicious simple dish that looks fancy and complicated! Thank you Paula and team!!
I so want to April Fools everyone but can't think of anything. 😆 Love biscuits!
What measuring scoops are they using? I can’t find to order. Thanks.

I wonder if could use almond flour in that recipe?
Can I use All Purpose Flour???
Yes. Just add baking powder and salt depending on how much flour you're using. I found this Google.

Good video. Almost double dipping with biscuit and butter knife.
