Drum performance filmed and recorded by Luke Oswald using Superior Drummer 3 from @Toontrack and e-drums and cymbals from Jobeky.
This is another swung performance with some simpler playing and a wide variety of dynamic ranges.
The drum samples used in this performance are from the Superior Drummer 3 Core Library using the Premier Genista kit configuration and the 14” wood rim Ayotte snare, which is one of my favorite kit combinations. The drum mix was created from scratch using the mixer and FX within Superior Drummer 3.

The performance MIDI was recorded and mixed within Superior Drummer 3. The MIDI was recorded directly into Superior Drummer 3 using a Roland TD-30 drum module and Jobeky electronic drums and cymbals.
I also use the Porter & Davies tactile monitoring system. The Porter & Davies BC Gigster is used for the DrumAngle studio configuration and the Porter & Davies BC2 is used for live performance and practice setups.

Luke! Wow, that kit is really dialed in. Nice work!! The natural decay of the cymbals sound so organic! Wow, just blown away at the subtle nuances that kit is capable of. Are those cymbals hand-hammered? Turkish Brass maybe?!?! Either way, exciting performance and another reason to rise and shine on this beautiful January morning!
is this really an e kit? It sounds exactly like acoustic drums. amazing

Do you know if jobeky will sell the older hithats/cymbals like you have here? I like the look better than the newer ones. I’m about to get a kit and was wondering if they could do that custom for me. They are hard to communicate with so I thought I’d ask you. Thanks
Diggin' the ambience on this one, superb! I might have asked this before, so I apologize, but with these newer Jobeky cymbals do they have rotation stoppers at all and/or do you find they like to drift sideways at times, especially the hi-hat? Cheers!
Thanks! I love this kit combination and the room ambience of the Superior Drummer 3 core library, one of my favorites for sure.
As for the Jobeky cymbals, I do t have any stoppers but the balance of these cymbals, I really don’t have any issues. The hi-hat would be the one to have this issue, but with the 2 cymbal hi-hat option, it really is minimal.
@@DrumangleOfficial Awesome. I went to Jobeky's web site and the cymbals like yours are not listed anymore which is strange. Only the Low Volume converted cymbals. I will have to send them an email asking where the metallic cymbal series all went!
the sound is supreme, I don't understand the snare aux, aren't you interested in selling the presets you've created?... everything is amazing, plus you're a master drummer
