In gundam battle operation 2 My buds and I decided to use only doms to fight off the other team And I decided to coordinate a Jetstream attack that sort of worked We called it the Quint star jet stream attack because it was 5 doms going in a straight line
If you didn't know, suits from the same model family are designed to work better together in GBO2, so a full team of Gelgoogs or Doms is unreal if your cordinated
The Dom is one of my favorites especially the variants. Some of my favorite scenes in any Gundam show are with the Dom Tropens especially. Really wish we got a 50 episode show of the one year war showing the Frontline soldiers of both sides federation and zeon. I know 08th Ms team and Ms igloo are the closest we'll get. I knowwar in the pocket isn't exactly that since they were an elite commando team but it still had that vibe as well though.
One of those underrated Mobile Grunt Suits. I would've liked to know more about the backstory of the pilots and their past exploits. It takes balls of steel to take on a gundam with just grunt mobile suits.
Every Dom/ Rick Dom pilot ever has done some major work. Take any shot of a Dom fighting in the whatever UC show/game and you'll notice how hardcore these guys were
That and they are the Zeons choice of mass produced suit after the Gouf. Replacing it. So it would be safe to assume ace pilots would give and RX-78 a run for its money.
Thats what I thought too until I saw what every single unit from the Dom family has done in the UC. Of course most of that can be chalked up to their pilots but go look up something like Blue destiny unit 1's destruction

After all I was the guy who started with G Gundam so I was used to more Gundam-esque designs. Now I’m here preferring designs like the Zock, Gatsha, Hambrabi, Gouf and Qubeley. Lol

That sounds like so much fun, sadly in Evolution you cannot have more than one type of suit in a team. Makes for a lonely dom team.

Ortega and Gaia both play parts in The Origin, haven't ya seen?
Doms aren't your average grunt suit, by that point in the OYW Zeon had started to catch up to the Rx-78 with suite like the Dom and Gelgoog
God I do love the Dom. Horribly underrated mobile suit. Being that heavy a hitter while also being incredibly mobile is deadly effective.
The Dom may be an old design, but its still awesome.
Best bulky boy, definitely needs an updated MG kit.

I love how the Dom hovers against the ground like that as a method of going fast. A lot of mecha in different games in anime tend to do that.
Dom is an underrated ground combat unit, kinda over shadowed by its really underwhelming space variant the Rick-Dom.
