McFarlane definitely does not like nightwing. Such good articulation and detail waisted on a goofy looking figure. My favorite dc character and he’s gotta be the most disproportionate one too, I hope he at least redoes nightwing someday😒 Red hood looks vicious as hell
The way McFarlane figures are constructed make them ridiculously easy to customize/improve. I swapped those thighs day one and it makes a tremendous difference. Imo dc essentials made the best looking red hood stock but with the tweaks I prefer McFarlanes

I know I've heard the argument that they have to save costs and what not on old molds. This is not how you do it. A repainted Nightwing that honestly could be much better should not have been forced into a two pack with Red Hood. Either we should have gotten a $30 set of Red Hood/Nightwing or just no repainted Nightwing figure. Ideally this Nightwing could have address it's faults to make it worth buying. I don't like how Mcfarlane has been doing these two packs with the exception of that Batman/Joker Arkham pack. That was perfect, you got two figures released solo first and then released together as a tweaked set. Mortal Kombat Raiden/Scorpion, again solo figures before, reduced price, and in alternate colors. They are also going to bring out a 3rd Nightwing figure using the same body but a jokerized head......... So thumbs down on Nightwing. It’s genuinely amazing how MacFarlane have transformed the DC figures. They’ve gone from a bit of a miss-mash of waves and styles to a really fantastic uniform approach!

I'm new to collecting Marvel Legends (just this year), I have bought several stands that work well for doing action/flying poses, but have yet to see any stands that are good for just good old fashioned pegs in the feet for figures that tend to topple easily (Strong Guy I'm looking at you).....any recommendations ?
With Bat Family figures I feel like it’s a necessity to kind of go all out for the articulation in a sense, a better head movement as well as ab crunch to get those acrobatic poses!

I love the red hood but i hate that nightwing... its not as ugly as the detective comics 1000 batman who i can't even look at without cringing (seriously what were they thinking?) But still, the lack of neck, wierd rubber diaper, lanky limbs and all around wierd body proportions just really bum me out. The only good part is the head sculpt but on the original release it had its mouth painted to look like he had lipstick on. Fortunately a little acetone can take the lip paint off and make him look much better. Dick is one of my favorite characters so I think thats probably why I'm so salty about it... I really hope McFarlane makes a new nightwing with a better Esthetic but im starting to doubt it because they revealed another nightwing on the same body so todd must really like the mold. I think its the only buck to have 3 separate releases. I also really hope he gives us a new comic batman. As I said I can barely look at the wave one batman. The new rebirth ones pretty cool but its got battle damage and a strange head thing going on. Sorry bout all the salt🧂 I've been shakin. I dont usually like to leave negative comments around but thats somthing thats been bugging me. To leave on a positive note McFarlane has come a long way in a short amount of time. When wave 1 hit I was pretty bummed out and didn't think I'd be collecting any of this line but he quickly made many improvements and now I have a huge shelf full of his dc multiverse figs. Theres still some stuff I hope will improve but seeing how far he's already come im sure that it will.

That red hood forearm looks like shit. Your forearms aren't supposed to curve inwards like that. That thigh is also too skinny for a guy that's supposed to be acrobatic.
In a bunch of the reviews I’ve seen the Nightwing always seems like his torso articulation is better than the initial release. Like, still not super great but far more movement than the blue one

McFarlane doesn't believe in leg days at the gym. He designs his figures like lanky rockstars or something.
