I just found this show thanks to Ling Chao because of "Falling Into Your Smile" and haven't finished the season yet, but got to that performance. They all killed it.
It makes me really fricking emotional that only zhangjing made it into the final 9 like wow all these vocalists have so much talent (sTAN RUIBIN also how tf did Xingjie not make it :')?) But then again there's no one in Nine Percent who I think doesn't deserve to be there (unlike wannaone rip) (love all your vids
You Zhangjing is my bias but I am going to talk about the underrated trainees since he received the attention that he deserved and even already debuted in the final. Yang Feitong, he not really shine in the show but he has talents, his vocal srsly shocked me especially 2:02 - 2:05 when he pulled the highnote by his real voice and not using falsetto. I mean, it's pretty hard to use your real voice to pull that kind of highnote. I wondered what technique that he used. And yes he's srsly one of the best main vocalists. And yes, im glad you put Zheng Ruibin. He's multi-talented trainee. He can sing, he can rap and even learn choreo quickly. The highnote that he pulls with Zhenghao in Xiao Ban srsly gimme a goosebump. He deserved better I swear. If I have a chance to add one more member to Nine Percent, I will pick Ruibin. He's definition of talent, srs talk. Ling Chao, ppl know him as Luhan's twin but he also resemble the speciality of Luhan which is also vocal. He might still young, 17 y/o but it's ridiculously amazing that his voice can sing a highnote and his tone voice somehow really high-pitched. Han Mubo, he also deserved better. Well, he trained in SM and everyone know that SM trained their trainees really strictly but they will ended up being so talented. Look at Han Mubo's vocal chord, it's really no joke and it amazed me everytime and my favv it was when he sang the highnote of What I Miss. *THANKYOU FOR THIS VIDEO, I LOVE YOU*
just a correction: for yang feitong at 2:02 thats not his real voice if what u mean by that is chest voice but is in fact his middle voice which is chest voice mixed wif head voice. Singers use the middle voice for belting as chest voice cant go that high but head voice can, however unless you are an opera singer or a classical singer etc, head voice doesnt have as much raw power as chest voice for pop singing at least so the middle voice is a mix of both, so you can still have that power with such a high note.
Zheng Ruibin was and will always be my #1 pick and honestly at one point I just started crying because I was so frustrated because he was/still is too damn underrated for being so talented and it hurt me so much that he had so little confidence and I just wanna thank you for not overlooking him and always including him.
I'm glad you put wenjun in the video, not a lot of people appreciate his talent and his vocals so he was a bit underrated but thanks for paying attention to him!!
I love them all especially top 6 in this list. Zhangjing is one of my faVes in IP. I noticed in one of the performances of Nine Percent, it's "Reminisce/What I miss", Zhangjing took Han Mubo's part and Zhangjing pulled it through although he quite had a difficulty achieving the highbpart/note. I saw his veins in his neck, it's became big/swollen. His hands are closed & trembling/shaking when he sang the high note. It makes me worried that Zhangjing's voice will be over used and abused

I remembered how nervous I am when zhangjing will be the one who will be competing with the others on the final episode. I really like him and his voice is the best for me since I watched their ranking evaluation performance and I'm always voting for him. I was very scared that the top 9 might not have a member who specifically specialized in singing so I'm very happy that he made it ❤❤ Also I feel very sorry for Wenjun because that time it's between him and zhangjing but even if we could turn back time, I still choose zhangjing I'm very sorry Bi Wenjun I know you're happy as NEX7 main vocalist now (I still think it kinda hurts him, still T_T) PS: Sorry for my terrible English

No. Given the fact that they are talented, but still, the first spot was meant, and is only for Zhangjing, at least in this context. You Zhangjing deserves to be the first. Well, I think, no other singers on the list can give justice to ALL OF THE SONGS Zhangjing has sung. No offense, but that's a fact. Zhangjing is a natural. I think Junyi would even struggle ---- esp with the high note on 昨日精空. Well if he can manage to pull the notes off, that would be through falceto, or through a struggling-sounding voice. Right now, we can't really say. But basing on the vid and other performances, Zhangjing's quality of voice is better. Plus, there is one quality with Zhangjing's voice that many don't have.
