I was so confused by the fact that Xingjie didn't make it?? He was really popular and well liked and he could literally be main vocal, main dancer, main rapper or main visual - he works so hard. And also IQIY liked him? He was got plenty of screen time and you got to see his many dimensions like how he's strict and hard looking but actually really cute with certain trainees (Grammarie family??) (*cough* tsundere *cough*) I was actually devastated when he didn't get through he was one of the ones I kinda just assumed would get through. But I guess his tiny part in Mack Daddy didn't do him justice on the day :(
*_the zhu twins_* - ugh they didn't get enough screentime, it's a shame cause they're really talented! *_yueyue_* - i loooooved his smooth voice, i guess he didn't get as much screentime cause he wasn't as crazy as the youngers (if you remember the scene where justin shouted "ai ni" in the waiting room and then you see yueyue just like "ugh wtf"), at least he's in oner with his husband bufan *_lu dinghao_* - i love this small ball of sunshine, and omg he such a meme, i don't even understand why he didn't get more screentime he's so likeable *_bei honglin_* - the very good performance was wow, yes his vocals were great! *_ding zeren_* - i don't get it, i mean, even yixing recognized his talent during the audition, clearly he is the best dancer, his performance at happy camp was fabulous, i hope we can see more of his rap with nex7, (also, he's such a smol bean i love it) *_yang feitong_* - arghhghhhhghhg such talent much wow, seriously his high notes blew me away and i was so surprised by his stable and smooth rap in quit smoking, i also liked the transition from rap to falsetto/high note *_jing peiyao_* - he's quiet and i hadn't thought much of him before i listened to 4:31, i knew he had a deeper voice but damn, also during the show it was hard to notice him between, zuo ye: the xukun fanboy, qin zimo: the anime meme, han mubo: the mom who plays the cello and qin fen: the dad friend with jackson who had already debuted, i'll make sure to pay more attention to him in awaken-f *_zheng ruibin_* - oh my baby, oh my honey oohohohoyeaheaheahyhhhwooooo, someone that good looking and that talented? a gift from heaven... or hell since he's so hot *_zhu xingjie_* - i don't understand how he wasn't part of the top 9, like you said, he is well rounded, and i do think we could call him the most well rounded trainee. he can sing sooo well, dance, rap, produce AND do magic, like wow. out of all the trainees that didn't make it and didn't form a group after the show, he's the one i try to keep up the most with (with my baby zhou yanchen) i wouldn't mind if you did a part two ♡♡
I always think that, any people who watch IP carefully will put Zeren as their best dancer, if not the best then at least top 3, he’s been training for about 7 years now. Not just that, he can rap and he can sing well too. Also I think Li Junyi is one the best trainee of the show, he’s good at everything but it’s bad that he’s eliminated because he isn’t as handsome as some of the popular trainees. Feel bad for the underrated guys 😔
Huba was my favorite trainee I'm salty that he didn't make it like why he was so talented and I loved his personality as well like why he didn't get into 9% is beyond me but I will support his solo career and any projects he decides to do in the future.

I agree with all but I want to dedicate this comment to Lu Dinghao, because he has all the talents, the looks and an amazing personality that shines. He is so unapologetically himself, he doesn’t force the cute he lives it and loves it, and can’t believe someone so extra in everything can make everyone around him so comfortable. And I mean he is SO EXTRA. I love seeing him interact with the banana boys, he always puts a smile on my face. So yeah, I discovered this little sunshine a little late, but I’m so glad I did
as a person whose picks in ip are in the 20th-30th place (except for ruibin yanjun zhangjing xikan) i deeply feel that this is the most relatable video ever. can't understand why were ppl sleeping on talents and sunshine and fluffs like dinghao, ruibin and zeren. not to mention xingjie the all rounder he should be in the final lineup.,.

I agree to all! The Zhu twins, is really good at dancing, I almost cried when Zhu Yunyi, got his eyes injured. YueYue is really good at rapping, even the ep. 1, they got my attention. Lu Dinghao is a very good vocal, i fell inlove with him on the ep. 1, and fell even harder on the position evaluation. Bei Honglin also got my attention on the first evaluation, he is so good at rapping. Ding Zeren is a really good choreographer/dancer, he got my attention when I first saw him, of course Yuehua Ent. I love him Yang Feitong is also a good vocal and rapper, he is really underrated, there are so many sleeping on him Jing Peiyao, his voice is so unique. Zheng Ruibin is really a good singer, and he got a good visuals too. And Zhu Xingjie, I love him, really. He got good visuals, he's also a good vocal, and a very good dancer, well a good magician too. *THEY ARE SO UNDERRATED*

adding onto feitong's points his dance is brilliant too!! in fact, when he was put into the rap group for the happy camp episode. zhang pd questioned it since he thought feitong was a dancer! also there's a fan made complication of all feitong's screen time on ip (including ones that didn't make the cut for official videos) it is only just over 19 minutes long... iqiyi did my baby dirty on screen time. :'((( oh. and he gave up competing for the c position in i will always remember since he wanted e part (the part with the rap) but then gave the e part away to ziyi bc he could execute it better :((( i could talk about feitong forever uwu

Selina Au-yeung im a 11/10 zhou rui ult but i think he did get a fair amount of screentime and let him show almost all of his talent (singing, a bit of composing and guitar, raPPIng) and he also had the zhou beauty rui thing going for him - if anything i wish he was able to do an rnb song cause that was his former genre but i mean he got showcased enough i fell for him😂
if i had my own list, imma just add my bby zhou yanchen ! ( idk if he’s considered underrated but oh well ) his personality just wArmS my heart and his teeth are just so white i guess ?? ( is that a weird thing to say ) also, remember during one one of the episodes where he practiced endlessly and got less than 5 hr( if im not wrong ) of sleep and ended up falling to the ground during their rehearsal stage due to exhaustion ? i was rlly shocked by it yet very proud that yanchen really put in that much effort to practice and perfect all the steps to the dance it’s jusk shznsksosps ~ and this is toTallY nOt biaSeD just bc he’s my ub in ip
He definitely worked way too hard, but he didn’t faint out of exhaustion, it was due to low blood sugar. Basically he worked too hard so he even forgot to eat
hagia。it’s okay, I guess exhaustion was probably partly the reason why he fainted. I mean Mingjun mention that during their preparations for Nunchucks they only slept 12 hours in 4 days and Yanchen slept even less. Zhengting (I think) mentioned that he would ask Yanchen if he was also leaving now, then Yanchen would say that he’ll continue for another 30mins but he’ll end up staying until 6.30am and he will then go and lead the group dance practice. Even now when I think about how he was shaking after their stage and how Mingjun and Zeren had to support him and how he could barely talk, my heart still aches
Thank you for including my Beibei 💖 I would add Wang Zihao, He Dongdong and Li Rang to this list. Zihao is very talented when it comes to dance, his moves are fluid, I like his technique and that latin dance battle he had with Chaoze is so iconic, they both did well. Dongdong is an amazing vocalist, his vocals are really soothing and pleasing to listen to. And Li Rang's voice is extra special plus I love his style of rapping.
Saw YueYue and clicked but stuck around because you spoke the truth! Honestly feel like Zeren and the twins especially where underrated for their dancing skills.Also who doesn't love Dinghao for his sass and personality as well as his amazing vocals. Beibei! I want to add Chaoze in the list too. He was in top 20 but nevermind. He is a very good dancer and choreographer, always makes his group sync. Also i kinda feel sorry for the trainees in level b and a not being in top nine.
I missed your Top 10, thank you for making this! But I would have put Deng Langyi on the list. He is a very good dancer, with stage presence and exceptionally good facial expressions. He is also the main vocal in Mr-X, so his high notes are pretty good. He also has the power of a gay god.

Its been 5 mos but yeah I'll still drop my comments. I'm glad to see Bei bei here! I love his rap and his voice reminds me of eminem when he rap english in trainee 18. Plus his vocal and visual. Also HUBA 😍 He's so talented and his stage presence is so amazing. I even want him to debut that time. Imagine adding him as a unique spice for the debuting group? We may even see some of his cool magic.

Selina Au-yeung im a 11/10 zhou rui ult but i think he did get a fair amount of screentime and let him show almost all of his talent (singing, a bit of composing and guitar, raPPIng) and he also had the zhou beauty rui thing going for him - if anything i wish he was able to do an rnb song cause that was his former genre but i mean he got showcased enough i fell for him😂

if i had my own list, imma just add my bby zhou yanchen ! ( idk if he’s considered underrated but oh well ) his personality just wArmS my heart and his teeth are just so white i guess ?? ( is that a weird thing to say ) also, remember during one one of the episodes where he practiced endlessly and got less than 5 hr( if im not wrong ) of sleep and ended up falling to the ground during their rehearsal stage due to exhaustion ? i was rlly shocked by it yet very proud that yanchen really put in that much effort to practice and perfect all the steps to the dance it’s jusk shznsksosps ~ and this is toTallY nOt biaSeD just bc he’s my ub in ip

He definitely worked way too hard, but he didn’t faint out of exhaustion, it was due to low blood sugar. Basically he worked too hard so he even forgot to eat

hagia。it’s okay, I guess exhaustion was probably partly the reason why he fainted. I mean Mingjun mention that during their preparations for Nunchucks they only slept 12 hours in 4 days and Yanchen slept even less. Zhengting (I think) mentioned that he would ask Yanchen if he was also leaving now, then Yanchen would say that he’ll continue for another 30mins but he’ll end up staying until 6.30am and he will then go and lead the group dance practice. Even now when I think about how he was shaking after their stage and how Mingjun and Zeren had to support him and how he could barely talk, my heart still aches

Thank you for including my Beibei 💖 I would add Wang Zihao, He Dongdong and Li Rang to this list. Zihao is very talented when it comes to dance, his moves are fluid, I like his technique and that latin dance battle he had with Chaoze is so iconic, they both did well. Dongdong is an amazing vocalist, his vocals are really soothing and pleasing to listen to. And Li Rang's voice is extra special plus I love his style of rapping.

But I would have put Deng Langyi on the list. He is a very good dancer, with stage presence and exceptionally good facial expressions. He is also the main vocal in Mr-X, so his high notes are pretty good. He also has the power of a gay god.

I'm glad to see Bei bei here! I love his rap and his voice reminds me of eminem when he rap english in trainee 18. Plus his vocal and visual. Also HUBA 😍 He's so talented and his stage presence is so amazing. I even want him to debut that time. Imagine adding him as a unique spice for the debuting group? We may even see some of his cool magic.
