I can easily understand that the film is adapted from a hollywood film called history of violence diected by david cronenberg back in 2005. Excited to see the lokesh kanagaraj's adaptation!!
This movie is a complete adaptation of history of violence graphic novel, even that Hollywood movie is partial adaptation of that novel

It feels like he forgets his past then try find about himself why they trying to harm him and his family. When you lost memory you'd only lost your past but things we learn and do will never be gone they will still be with in us which is why he is brutally killing when needed.

One thing i clearly get it , the hyna scene is gonna be in the starting of the film cuz vijay fight with hyna saves somebody creates news across the country, that's how sanjay dutt and gang found about vijay's location.
Regarding the double act i highly think it is the Alter ego as lokesh already revealed to us in the 1st single music video poster. You can see the Alter ego comes to action 2:42 where he transform to his other form or past form.
Nah I think its a double role, the police recognizes him as he resembles the drug dealer "Leo das" and mistake parthi for leo. To prove himself right parthi tries to catch leo and harold and antony try to protect leo.

This plot is same as History of violence, and there was also a rumour that they bought rights of History of violence but in lokesh style. By seeing this trailer i feel it is true since it resembles so much of tht plot eventhough that film was not a mass film but this is. and how they connect to LCU will be interesting to watch

@@savageasf1297 Producer Lalit Kumar said in yesterday's twitter space that we have kept it as secret whether it is LCU or not so you guys find out when film releases it seems. If it wasn't LCU then he could have clarified it so that people won't expecting these things. So I guess there is some connection to LCU.

My theory is Actual Grey haired character is not only hiding his disguise from his family that he has settled into, but he may be having a secret about some shipment related to drugs or something and he wants to find that out from the gang he used to be in band with and he takes control over that shipment or something. At the end that Grey haired dude is an anti-hero from which am guessing Leo is Anti-hero in this movie. Anyways this is my hunch but let's see
