Thomas, this was another excellent review. You are so gifted in your command of the English language and your uncanny ability to describe a fragrance in a way that is crystal clear. I found your explanation of the difference between neroli and orange blossom and the extraction processes fascinating. Thank you! I'd always wondered about that. Finally, you look adorable in a vest and tie. :) Thrilled to hear you say many more reviews coming. Always a fan, Cara
C. Miller Hi Cara, why thank you! Always with the kind words. Yes the Neroli & Ornage blossom was one that baffled me also. I had to ask my tutor what it was all about. So the Orange Blossom oil is extracted through "Enfleurage" this method produces an "absolute" Neroli is steam distilled petals and this produces an "essential oil". I'd love to go experience them doing this in a field somewhere in France...in the sunshine...near a vineyard..sippping wine! haha.
Soooo accurate in that marshmallow but doesn’t smell like marshmallow only sets the tone vibe as well as your description of it being *aaalmost gourmand. Bravo in this perfect description 🙌🏼
My absolute favorite.. I just bought it and I was going to return it because I looked at the batch and is 7 years and 8 months old but the funny thing is that it smells brand new. So I decided to keep it because it smells fabulous and it last all day.
I find the original Pour Femme has a distinct milk chocolate phase that is lacking in the Pour Femme Intense version. Other than that, I agree they are very similar and I actually find the Pour Femme more intense than the Pour Femme Intense because of the milk chocolate stage.
You are adorable. I owned this like 4 years ago, then gave it to my sis. I remember the fact that I could not get *urinal cake* out of my head whenever I sniffed it. Now I kind of miss it. It’s super sweet and fluffy and seamlessly blended. I do wish it had a little more spice.
For every perfume I like, I find you making a video about it. I am now confused between Dolce and La belle GP Gutierre، unfortunatly it doesnt ladt more than 10 mnts 😢
The original 1992 Pour Femme is AMAZING! Also BY Man was discontinued and is an amazing scent! Don’t know what D&G was thinking when they discontinued those gems :( I’d say the 2012 Femme is totally unisex though!
My heart still bleeds for the loss of D&G BY both men's and women's. Both were spectacular Kicking myself when i saw them for sale for £14 and I only bought one. What an idiot. .
Intense, the name and bottle colour are very misleading? I fail to see what is intense about this, I don't quit get what the folk at Dolce & Gabbana deem as intense. I'd expected a deep, sultry, seductive sexy fragrance that should be worn in the evening on a romantic date. But it fails at that, saying that is is nice, and I will no doubt buy it because the bottle colour is pretty.
...I'm trying to purchase d and g red cap.. Is the 1992 bottle a good buy? I'm confused with new bottle style in boots.. Is this the same frag? Thanks...
Hello!!!! The one that is dark purple (the one in this video) is the completely revamped version from a few years ago. The 1992 version is red...totally different. I have reviewed it here...ua-cam.com/video/Uemmr_YrwHQ/v-deo.html as well as comparison between the different red cap styles here... :) ua-cam.com/video/Uemmr_YrwHQ/v-deo.html
I love the smell of the Intense but it doesn’t last on me! It’s literally gone in an hour:-((. Why is that?? Also I’ve noticed it’s confusing bc on some labels it says “pour femme intense” and on others it just says “Intense.” Why can’t these perfume makers be consistent? YSL Libre is so far the only perfume lately that lasts on me.
It's a tricky one, Once they released this one I was mad because the original one in the red packaging is amazing, and this one is totally different. The purple one is super sweet. :(
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews hi, are you referring to the original 90s D&g (is back)? Or was you just saying that this is the reformulated version of it? I, like u, still haven’t gotten over the trauma of losing my beloved, and as an Italian, it cut me deep 😢. It was ‘my smell’ for over a decade to the extent that ppl used to call me d&g 😆
Anyway it's one of my all time favourites. It's a personal thing , one might like it , another won't.. BUT it's a very passionate and warm scent.

I wish I had seen this before I blind bought intense.
I agree! I was thinking am I going crazy?! I smell chocolate!
Nicole Bee Not at all! It’s there!

Aw thanks. This one is deffo a fluffy sweet marshmallow, it's friendly and cool.
Agreed! Bought this and just wish the sandalwood came through stronger to balance out the overwhelming sweetness

I was wondering if you can review J'adore L'absolu by Dior.
Thanks in advance

Agree like the origional
Hi I can't believe you've kinda rubbed yr hands together after spraying it on yr hand which is some thing you just don't do as you spoil the notes
guilty!
@@ouch110 😂
Love it❤❤❤
I read the notes and thought it could be for me but I just testered it and no. Way too much marshmallow synthetic. Too poufy.
Frou frou right?
I love it😝
Why Why Why did they discontinue the Original Fragrence..This one stinks😑🙄
It's back! reformulated but back!

@@devidoitalia I bought the original one on allbeauty and it's the same as in 1992. Only 100ml size for £65. Get it!
Franeeky I got it a few weeks back from there! Thanks so much! I do feel like it smells a little old/off though, maybe it’s just me?
@@devidoitalia Don't know. It smells exactly the same for me. 🤗
I love it😝
