- We spent the night in an off grid bell tent and glamping hut! 🏕
For our second unusual hotel episode we travelled up to Yorkshire to visit the guys at Camp Hill Estate and stay in one of their quirky accommodations. 😍

Our Scout troop had a bell tent no wooden floor just ex army ground sheet /poncho ,sleeping bag made of ex army blankets and huge pins like Kilt pins.one person per panel about 20 Scouts on one layer.You guys look as if youre having a ball and you're brining back lots of memories of my younger daysin the UK. Looking forward to the next episode in your camping saga.

Now that's my style of camping, a tent that's already been put up. I will expect a vlog in the future where you erect your own tent and stay in it. Tent and set up looked great. I think I would quite happily of spent the night in the kitchen/chill out area with the fire and rocking chair. Fabulous choices so far in this Unusual Hotel Series. The Warden must of had a quiet relaxing night with you two the only ones staying. Well at least I've found out that me and Oscar both love Lotus biscuits 😁 Great stuff guys, thoroughly enjoyed it. Haha yes, saves putting a tent up! I don't think that would make such a smooth vlog - although could be entertaining for the viewers haha. Glad you're enjoying the vlogs as much as we're enjoying creating them - Geodome to follow next! Haha we say 'for Oscar' but we definitely eat as many as him!

I set up a 4 m bell tent in my yard since the pandemic all of the beautiful camps areas in Arizona are closed , i live in the Sonoran desert so every night i get my glamping on ....LOVE IT

These vlogs are great. We all just love seeing you so happy in each other's company. You both have great screen presence. You've said that Lauren is the more reserved of the two of you so it's wonderful to see her really opening up on these vlogs and allowing us to see the truly wonderful girl that she is. Is that a common breakfast in the UK? I've literally never heard of beans on toast for any meal, let alone breakfast!
Haha I know right! 21st century campers! We've not got stuck into anything at the minute, just watched a few easy rom coms, need to find a good series! And YES we live for beans on toast but I'm pretty sure it's a UK thing!

Cheers John, it was actually so comfortable! Would be an ideal place to visit with friends in summer! We actually got the stay in exchange for some promotion on our Instagram page but I think they charge around £80 a night! Yes definitely racking up a few miles before the weather turns too sour haha.

Aw thanks a lot! Yes would love to do van life a bit more permanently however we've currently got the narrowboat to keep clean haha. It's a Ford Transit MK7.

Aw you two make everywhere you stay so cute and romantic. The tent was like the Tardis in that it was bigger on the inside that it looked on the outside. With Lauren always singing Cotton-Eye Joe I'm beginning to think there is a pattern here developing through these vlogs where she is dropping little hints about marriage. Remember the Wedding photo shoot you came across and the Wedding shop incident and the fact the place you stayed at holds wedding receptions and also the lyrics of Cotton-Eye Joe, well the evidence is stacking up Charlie. Thanks Mary, we're well aware of the pandemic and abiding by all of the rules.
At first, I was a little disappointed as all it showed was the bell tent and the facilities, nothing about what you got up to. Then I woke up, smelt the coffee and realised that the whole point of these vlogs is to feature the accommodation. The facilities looked great, but can you imagine if all the tents were occupied and everyone decided to cook at the same time. Mind you, can you imagine the party you would all have in the communal area. Lauren didn't mention how it was for her when she had to walk to the toilet block at 4am.
Haha I know what you mean, we try to include as much of us as possible but ultimately the aim of this series to show of the accommodations. Agreed, cooking in the summer could be a fun time or a nightmare. Between you and us I think she just went outside the tent haha.

No I've never drank. Took boxing very seriously growing up and then as I got older it just never appealed to me.
