I have a question for the best procedure for getting on the Guardians of the Galaxy (I am not staying on Disney property)
Would you recommend trying to join the VQ at 7 AM OR buying the Individual Lightning Lane at 9 AM when I am in the park? Which gives me a higher probability to ride?

Staying off site I would recommend both! At 7 am I would definitely try the virtual queue but it is the hardest to get and of course it’s free. Second choice would be buying an ILL at 9 am, of course it will cost but it is also a much shorter wait than the virtual queue.
Also, remember they make more virtual queue spots available at 1 pm, but you have to be in the park. I had good luck with those being available on my last trip.
