I enjoyed this so much. When I was a teen wayyy back in the 70s late at night I could occasionally pickup shows like these. There's lot ghost stories and creepypastas out there but they're just not the same.
This is a decent story, but _far_ from Westall's best. I would have chosen either 'Sergeant Nice' or 'Fred, Alice and Aunty Lou' from the same anthology. Perhaps even 'Hitchhiker', which is rather good despite the somewhat juvenile wish-fulfilment aspect--which is of course the entire point.
Well Mr. Michael Helme,. I would love to watch this in a, frightening visual episode on screen. You see, I love horror movies and this would be quite enjoyable to watch. I would even take it a step further I'll make it a movie and take it to about an 1 hour and 43 minutes long especially when the vicar I was invited for dinner and they would be sitting there enter very old vintage English home for the house that is from the turn of the century, let's say 1850 moving on+ 1910 where in reality it was probably 1960. We would see the young vicar sitting there at the dining room table at the dining room table, Is vicar would have been served a proper wine glass with wine in it, but the grandfather that is scheduled to die and the granddaughter would have wine glasses but not with wine in it it would be blood how would your vicar handle that situation ? So as I said this would be a quite interesting movie and I can most certainly write the monologue for this upcoming movie from the turn of the 19th century where in reality it would be 1960. There we have Henry Drago with the vicar to that Parish Having dinner with the business meeting to arrange, the appointment that he has to move on to the second Journey of his next step unto his final sleep, to join the rest of his family that is gathered in a Vault Under that same church. All I say to Mr Michael Helme,. Maybe next Wednesday at half seven you will come to my home and we will have a business dinner discuss the arrangements on Wednesday September 8th so we could make the arrangements for my funeral mass so I may meet Mr. Henry Drago in the completion all of my funeral mass in the year 2021. You will meet my granddaughter her name is Gertrude and she is quite desirable even if you are married you will still find her quite attractive. So I will see you at my home next Wednesday no need to bring a bottle of wine we have plenty in our wine cellar. So Mr. Michael Helme, my granddaughter, Gertrude and I we'll see you next week at 7:30 p.m. For dinner we both hope you have a great day, and sleep, and eat well until we meet.... good day Mr. Michael Helme...... I hope this letter finds you well and well you will stay until we meet,,,,. good night Michael,,,,. Oh, make sure you sleep well ? And I hope this letter leaves you in a very comical way ? I enjoyed this play tremendously and I would love to write a continuous script which would be very frightening........ ....... ... Good night ...... Michael ......

I love the sound effects.
I live in one of the more remote parts of England. Drogo and Morsk are popular names round here
Sounds like the local Vamps were nice ones, no deaths, making sure the old ones stayed put...
Thank you for this little gem!
That was good 😊 Thank You 👍
That was fun. Thanks.
Loved it !
If the churchyard's been closed for so long, why did he take the funeral booking so casually in the first place?
I have to agree. The strange eagerness in Maloney's portrayal at that moment has always unsettled me.
if bodies are buried in a crypt it is in a church or in a seperate building (a mausoleum/vault) which can be privately owned for future burials.
i love how vampires was never mentioned we worked it out
Always bits of truths in these things I feel, people in positions of power sucking us dry 😉
@@lisaGSD Twas ever thus.
