I am working in process mechanic so I weld plastic every day. Your weld looks not good too much pressed or too hot setted and one tipp you not always to push the wire. The wire goes in automatically.
I want to start plastic fabricating small HDPE boats made out of HDPE Barrel plastic I'm going to be buying Extrusion welder here soon what is your tip for a good tack welder for attaching the pieces together
Dear Hisn-i Mansur For demonstration purposes and visual differentiation, a different colored welding wire with a lower melt index was used. Due to the different melting behaviour, the resulting appearance of the weld seam was not optimal. However, according to investigations by German plastics experts, the welding rod should be permanently inserted into the nozzle. This causes less stress in the cooled welding seam and the connection has a better long-term strength. Your Weldy-Team
@@WELDYhotairtools Yeah that can be. But back then in my training the other trainee's has guided the wire by hand. At our welding machine we dont need to push the wire just only at the beginning and my workshop master said the weld need to have two bulge to be sturdily.

What is cleanup like? Getting the melted plastic off the tips and such. Does it just peel off when it cools down?
Where can I purchase 1/8 thick sheets of polypropylene?
does it actually weld (melt all 3 materials and mix together), or does it melt plastic and lay it down on top of the other two?

By the way man if you weld plastic you would have a great Channel consider that I would follow you everyday

@@MudMotorsMax I dont know which model Extrusion we have. But I think its very importend that the Extrusion machine is small and handy.
