LOVE IT. My two favorite bloggers!! (and my two favorite Scottish bloggers) Yes, like so many of your viewers, I am Scots/American. It is a real thing, that is what we call ourselves. It's hard on our spirit when native Scots try to tell us we don't have that right. We do! Our people came from the same places and lived the same history. In my particular history, my 12th great-grandfather (Sir Robert Stringfellow of Edinburgh) moved his entire family in 1660 due to Charles II taking the English throne. He didn't want to end up at the Tolbooth for treason; so seeing videos of these places helped me to understand how my people lived. Thank you both!! Thank you.
Loved seeing this video! 2/3 of my favorite Scottish UA-camrs together in one spot! Enjoyed your collab last year, great to see you together again! 😊👋 Good ideas for tourist expansion..it's exactly what I always have done when I have visited...rented a car 🥰 Fun one day trips, eastward to Dunbar, Tantallon Castle, southward past Rosslyn Chapel, and up north going eastward toward Aberdeenshire and up the coast - any & every direction has something stunning to see! Thanks, Tony, waves to Kirsten and the baby - love from Denmark 🌸💕
Another great Scottish memories, thank you Tony and Shaun! I first came across Clan Broonfords looking for ideas for our trip to Scotland this year, sadly derailed for now but the moment we can travel again Scotland is back on the itinerary! These interviews are making me so curious about what tablet tastes like!
Great interview! So much fun listening to your stories! Scots are the best storytellers! I subbed! Follow Shaun, and just about everyone he recommends. Thanks! 🏴💕
Another fun interview. I watch You, Shaun, Beautycreep and WeeScottishLass and David Wheater. I enjoy seeing collaborations between UA-camrs. By the way, what happened to the Scotland map hanging over your left shoulder - was there in the opening then no more 🤪 Take care
I am SO SO SO happy to see this interview! You and Shaun are both amazing storytellers and the way you bounced off each other was so great! This is the one thing I look forward to on Wednesdays now.
That was a great video! Now I really must go to Scotland! I love the collab with Shaun! Good times! HELLO TO KIRSTEN...keep sleeping Mama!! And the dogs behaved themselves!
September here in America is when all the Halloween stuff starts to come out ... that's the best time to get the spooky stories out there. Then and October.
Great video guys, good seeing you both together again. I remember the first time i had offered chippy sauce, it was just totally alien to me. Salt and vinegar any day 😂
I have a love/hate relationship with the festival. Sure it's really busy and stressful working in hospitality, but the extra income no doubt helps the business through quieter months
Lots of good banter...I was too young to go with my brothers to New Year Tron outdoor spontaneous thing and never made it in time before it all changed. The festival has lost touch with locals because of so many cuts to basic council services I think. Many do not relate to it anymore. Story Telling Centre is fab..great coffee there. Completely agree on chippy sauce and add a big pickle...mmmm Not a big fizzy juice drinker and normally avoid sugar, but No going near the new ruined Irnbru ..where does one buy the 1901 bottle? Not too sure with some tour guides..probably best do your own research first. I overheard one once and found it weak and tacky in places. Hopefully it has improved.. my wee tip is the National museum on Chambers Street. Great great place. Hope it all calms doon there. Missing home. 🇸🇪
Shaun is such a nice guy. I had the opportunity to meet him in person when he briefly visited my city on his way to somewhere else...because that's the only reason anyone comes to my city. Anyway, I agree about ghost tours. I'm not a believer in the paranormal but ghost tours are good for history. if you ever find yourself in Charleston, South Carolina (not my city) take the ghost tours. OMG. I love shortbread! I am so excited for September. Going to eat a pound of shortbread.
I wanna ask two hosts: is Livingston a place good for living and finding jobs? I am from HK, used to work in Insurance, but I can take up any jobs except catering.
I have to say it, I wish Shaun would do more videos on Scotland. I liked his U.S. travels, but his Scottish stuff was always great.
I like him, but I don't want to see a Scottsman in America, I want to see a Scottsman in Scotland! Love listening to their accents, though!

Never knew you worked at Edinburgh Dungeon. I will have heard your voice there years back.
Yes! I love this! Btw the loos are free to use in Waverely Train station instead of 30p for a pee😉

Ooo I follow Shaun its quite interesting. Nice to have both of you in same video
"Strangely quiet" is the best way to put it. Nice to see the cities quiet for the locals, but not at all "normal".
great adveice Shaun, getting lost in a city is always the best way to really see it.
My two favorite Scottish UA-cam people together brilliant. Thrilled you guys did a collaboration!
Here is another one we did last year.

Gosh, Westerhailes or Saughton is not often given a mention...Stenhouse was my area aswell as Gorgie. I take it he went to Tynecastle High School?

Shaun strongly resembles the late-great Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit - Also an Edinburgh native

Hi Shaun
I wanna ask two hosts: is Livingston a place good for living and finding jobs? I am from HK, used to work in Insurance, but I can take up any jobs except catering.

Tammy or Erin from BeautyCreep, yes! I didn’t even think of them until you mentioned Tammy!
