Most people in Las Vegas bet with chips, but Danny “The Count” Koker bets with cars. This Sin City legend walks, talks and breathes cars and bikes. When he sees a car he wants, he will do whatever it takes to get his hands on it-including making on-the-spot cash offers to unsuspecting owners. On the HISTORY series Counting Cars, Danny and his team restore, customize and sell cars in a hurry, scrambling to keep their Las Vegas shop in the black. From classics to exotics, from hotrods to choppers, Danny and the crew of Count’s Kustoms will stop at nothing to find and flip the greatest rides of all time.

First
Chevrolet did not introduce the money Carlo my dad introduced the Monte Carlo to Chevrolet he was a design engineer for GM for 45 years he threw the Monte Carlo in 1969 for the 1970 production year I have the original drawings of the car
"""""L
@@ritaetchristamkhayel732 I'm not certain what you are saying my Father iwas. Design engineer with GMC from 1947-1989 in the coach division with Fisher body the Monte Carlo is one car that my dad Drew in 1969 for the 1970 model production year I have those original drawings he also holds a 146 registered patents with GM I have nothing to proof just stating a comment
was anyone else addicted to Pawn Stars then discovered Danny's show and switched to Counting Cars?
Yup, it got me good
Same here lol
For me it was opposite and yes this show made me love cars (even though some of them are tacky and boomerish)
I watch both cause they're both great shows
YUUUUP!!!!
This show is starting become the new pawn stars for me
Same, I miss pawn stars
Great thing is the host of the show is the expert!
This is the episode he changed his mind. He had Mike comeback with car. He sure hates selling cars. Lmao
My late Dad had a lot of muscle cars in his early 20's. The 72 Monte he kept as his favorite. All of my childhood that car was stored in our garage, he only took it out a couple times a year. While I am not a huge fan of the Monte Carlo. Man I miss that car and the memories of my Dad. I remember it always had that brand new car smell being pristine inside and out. My Dad loved that car.
How are we getting home?🤣🤣🤣
Haha I love that Danny looks right at the ‘57 lol
I had 72 Monte Carlo 454 big block , roll cage, even put some OG Good year eagle slicks . And best of all I left it with primer only , which gave it that Barn find look
$16K for that Monte Carlo?!?! I don't really know the price of those classic cars, but I feel like $16K for a counts kustoms classic like that is a steal!!
They do business together and they are long time friends. That's why he let it go for that cheap. Had it been anyone else he would of wanted more.
It was a complete steal. A monte carlo this clean normally goes in the mid 20s
I guess you could say the 57 chevy belair was a 57 monte carlo or 57 impala
@@xMikeDezzyx421
Yeah, I payed 17k about 6 years ago. It's kinda hard to price them because there isn't many around like there used to be, but mid 20s sounds about right... (low, but fair)
Nice Monte Carlo! I'm currently doing a frame off on a 71 SS454.
Can’t touch em for that anymore! That’s a 30k car today I’ve got a 71 SS and am so glad they are finally getting their long overdue recognition!
The fact that he didn’t know what to say when “how we getting home”😂😂😂
Bitter sweet memories for me! I just sold my 72 Monte Carlo in 2022 which I bought used in 1975. It went to a good owner as he has a body shop and will take care of it. It still has the original 350 with 160,000 miles and a recent timing chain. There's not a tic in the engine while running................
16 to cheap
That Monte Carlo is BEAUTIFUL 😄
🔴🦅🇺🇸🦅 that 57 is awesome, the Monti, W😎W What a sweet ride 👍‼️ I owned a 1972 Monti Carlo in California, Not a speck of rust, Valley ride,♦️♦️♦️💲💲💲 Diamond Dave ♥️
Wish I could afford to fix my car with Counting Cars. I have 1971 Monte. Beautiful car, and love show. Semper Fi
Just 16k for that beauty???? That other guy practically got it for free...
Just because something looks nice doesn’t mean it’s worth anything.
@@kidsavvy660 u clearly know nothing about classic cars. That's easily a 25K-30K car.
My first car I miss my Monte Carlo that was a great car it ran forever...
My dad had an early 70s Monte Carlo that got stolen from him right out of the driveway. Seeing this, I can sense how devastating that must have been
So, I own the same exact car. 1972, Gold. But I have the gold/tan interior with black carpet.
I always look for a small scale model of it like a Matchbox, or Hotwheels, but could never find one.
Last Christmas, my wife surprised me with a Kounts Custom "Greenlit" 1:24 matchbox.
It's the only one I've ever seen. Just thought it was cool.
Danny, if you're reading this, I've got a real nice one I (((could))) part with.
Same color, pretty nice, too.
I love the early 70s Monte Carlos as well. My favorite one is the 1970 Monte Carlo. It had the best horsepower rating.
1971 had the best horsepower rating for the 454 at 365hp
Yep can't believe you sold it
For me the 1961 Thunderbird was the first cross of a luxury and sports car. I sold my Pink Beauty 10 years ago and still regret letting her go.
@ Freedom Forever
You should kick yourself in your butt everyday. That's what my dad said, in reference to himself, after he sold his lake front property.
My late dad used to have a 1970 Monte Carlo
Glad to see Kevin
Such an uplifting show
Danny saved alot of dead classic cars that sat in junkyards for years and saved them from going to the crusher.
@@deanfarr3249 and who knows how many more were inspired because of it. 💙✨
Wow I renember seeing the part where the Monte Carlo was sold
Love 1957
Cool video 👌👍
Only 16 000. I was thinking more like 25000
Love the first generation Monte Carlos especially the 1970 my dad bought one brand new in 70 and he took me along and let me pick out the color and all the options I was 5 years old and man I had that car loaded with everything my dad said he couldn't tell if it was a Chevrolet or a Cadillac it had so many options on it LOL
Wow u must’ve been in a richer family with some great parents
I like that color on that Monte Carlo.
You look like you needed a chow!
Awesome.
I needed ir too.
I seen several of them bel-airs go for 132k and 136k but 42.5K that is not even making a profit. I would of sold it for 2k and above.
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Fuel Injected - Pre-Owned $159,000.00 Year: 1957
Fantastic
Love that Monte Carlo 👌
1970 Monte Carlo 454 SS black on black is my dream.
A sweet '72 M.C. THE ride for me...
You want the best, drive the best!
Gone to buy a car end up selling your 🤣
My brother has 1 just like it
Hey Danny I'm looking for a 1972 Monte Carlo thanks keep an eye on on
That's a good deal dude do it but I wouldn't sell mine for that
That was Sean Boswell's brother, the rest is history :D
My cousin’s 71 Monte Carlo had the Big Block 402 also called a Big Block 400
The 402 was actually an overbored 396
The Roadkill Nascarlo made me also love this shape of Monte Carlo
I miss the old videos ... when they show how the fix the cars.. lol
lol Fast & Furious Monte Carlo from Tokyo Drift.... would sell for $80,000 just because of the movie and the color adds to it. 👦🏻👌🏻🏎💥✨🌟
Happy New Year
@ Jason Mendoza
Thank you 🎠🎪🎢🎪🎊🎁🎉🎀✨🎆🎇
January 1 is my birthday 🥇🎈🥇🎈
Have a blessed 2021
My mom had one in pea green.
That's a long uber ride.
If I had the money back in h.s. I would have done a total restore on my 72 monte
Dan ur gona regret selling that classic cruiser
He already did
Didn't he buy it back from mike?
He's gonna change his mind and take it back 🤣
The 1970 was nicer with the minimal trim. And, best two colors were Cortez silver and Shadow Gray with rallies.
I like the '72 Monte Carlo. My favorite car I never owned.
I like that question, how are getting home?
Good❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
Denny u are crazy
Well, Kevin you my friend are walking and i am calling Ryan.
Matching numbers for a MC? Naaaa that’s mine til death
$16 was way low. Im thinking 25k all day long.
What about the 75 chevy Caprice????
I like that 57 Chevy
This Monto Carlo I wd luv to change the paint tho, I'm not sayin it's not tight, it jus I wd luv to see w/a custom org paint job💭🤔🤔🤔💜❣️❣️😍💨🚗🚗🚗Nice ride tho
It was a numbers matching Monte Carlo he got it cheap
True. I thought Danny would make a deal with the other fellow, something like... offering to trade the Monte Carlo for the Bel Air, with the seller discounting the Chevy 20k. I wonder if the Chevy's owner would've agreed to such a trade/deal.
that s why we love "the count " ! and his team
Ooh 😍😍😍🤦🙏😮💭💓💙💙💙💙🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗❣️💙💜💨💨👌💢💥🙋🏄🏄❣️💙❣️💙🚗💙🚗💙🚗Bello ❣️❣️❣️❣️😍
Funny crazy guyz
I'm trying to count cars
Okay, I'm lost. HOW MUCH did he sell his Monte Carlo for, someone please??
In 1975 I worked in a car dealership. The sales guys said the Monte Carlo was bigger than the Cadillac.
16,000
4:14 Counts Customs doesnt do good body work if they sell a car with the hood that far out of spec. Look where it rises past the windshield and doenst meet the quarter panel.
pigGRAYs hombakd I see what you're talking about Counts Customs bodywork sucks.
these moppets are going up in value fast im 2020 and 2021
All yours
I hate Kevin just let him have his cars
Danny, that Car was too good to let go.
Es viejo ,episodio antiguos
I'll give him 16
Your getting home the old-fashioned way... It's called shoe leather !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shank's Pony
Interesting how he drove the exact car the other guy wanted.
It’s truly uncanny! Lol
Almost as if it was all scripted😯
@@Chetterhummin88990 this ain't itz all real🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yet he wouldn't made the bel air a good cheap deal for Danny like he did for him
👍🏾
My third gen 79 Monte looks better than that it might not have came with a 350 but it's got one now on steroids
more
I don't get how the shop makes any money. Danny wants to keep everything they work on
They are working on about fifteen cars a time, and they get significant budgets from the casinos and wealthy clients
They push out so much stuff. They will probably make more money selling the paraphernalia. Shirts, toys, not to mention the guy has a restaurant, bike shop, a tattoo parlor, and he has his own line of car rims, and clothing.
The cars he buys and sells are just extra. They do beautiful work.
didnt he sell this one to the casino?
Same one as the Ace Vantura one
zack Magruder
The Chevrolet Monte Carlo used in Ace Ventura Pet Detective was a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo not a 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
@@joshuasummers7440 Oh I was wrong the page of that movie cars said it is
@@joshuasummers7440 Oh I was wrong is 2 years newer
@@joshuasummers7440 I looked it up and it said 1972
@@zackmagruder5567 I just watched a clip from the movie Ace Ventura Pet Detective the Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a '72 not a '70 like I thought.

Gas monkey had a hard time selling one like that.
Hey Danny name is Larry White I’ve got a collection up here in Canada that so much like what you’ve got. If you’re interested at all let me up on Facebook I’ll be waiting for your call thanks bye
Fake.
😁✌🖖👌👍😎
Pawn stars sucked out loud. Mostly fake. This show is at least mostly real with a bit of b.s. thrown in.
First
Bel airs are some of the ugliest cars ever. Don’t @ me
The Monte is much better
