@@officialwowow Thanks Man!
Happy Thanksgiving Joe and Lori thank you so much helping us look on which vehicle is better to buy.
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Joe and Lori Raiti
What do you mean, I have 20" factory wheels on my passport
"When you find out you got a couple extra kids"😂😂😂Never gets old! Great review as always guys!!
Joe it's Thanksgiving. I wasn't expecting a video today ... but thank you. Great SUV and great review.
I am so glad that I could surprise you today! Thanks for being so great!
Beautiful truck! I have a 2021 Kia Sorento SX X-Line Prestige AWD. I got it in New Years day and the transmission went out on June 13th. Took them a month to diagnose. They replaced 3 transmissions on my truck. In the shop for 4 months. Kia DID NOT provide a loaner. Got my truck back this month only to have it break down again. Been going through the buy back process with Kia motors and they have been treating me very piss poorly. Check out the transmission reviews yourself. This is my second brand new Kia. Didn't have any issues with my 2019 Kia Optima S. But no one should have these kinds of issues when you're paying $50k for a vehicle. The warranty doesn't mean a lot when ur vehicle is in the shop for over 4 months. It's been a headache dealing with Kia motors about this repurchase. Please stay away from this truck! Many people are having transmission issues.
Same here! My sorento broke down on the freaking highway going 75mph! These vehicles are terrible!
@@JayRM714 Sorry to hear that. Man I really loved my truck too. It's crazy, but I'm going through the buy back process. When I call to check the status of my process and where we're at in it, the lady that's handling my case doesn't answer my calls, unless I call from a different area code. 🤦🏾♂️. When I mentioned it to her, she started laughing. I will never buy another Kia again. They are doing me so wrong. I want to hire an attorney, but im.just so tired of dealing with them and ready for this to be over.
@@kearneyjohnl7 I’ve been following the Kia thread on Reddit and have seen multiple people in the same boat as you. Sorry you’re going through that man. It’s sickening too because I love the vehicle a lot, but I have an appointment tomorrow at Carmax to see if I can just trade it in. I don’t wanna have to deal with Kia again after seeing what y’all are going through… Hope it all works out for you in the end man!
@@JayRM714 I appreciate u Jay! I hope and pray everything works out for you as well on trading your truck in, too!
I was actually trying to decide between the Sorrento and the Tiguan R line. I own VW's and as long as you maintain them they'll last forever. Looks like I'm sticking to VW lol. Sorrento looks really nice and has more HP than the Tiguan but what's the point if you don't have a transmission.
Would love to see your take on the 2022 Kia Sorento PHEV EX
Stay tuned Ron!
This doesn't exist. PHEV is SX and SXP.
Happy thanksgiving from Canada!!
Loving seeing the hazards on! I wish the Kona and Elantra you just dropped had them on.
Sorry man! If you would have seen the tight time crunch we were on when filming those two vehicles you would understand.
Joe, I'll buy this. This is nice!!
I am so glad that I could share it with you!
Happy Thanksgiving Joe and Lori giving us happiness and knowledge with another excellent Kia review! I read the Sorento X you reviewed added memory seats on the driver side for 22. Still short of some standard or options compared to the Santa Fe Caligraphy but the Sorento exterior and interior win out big. As far as the Honda, I’m going 22 Sorento. Cheers.
Thanks for being awesome!
Natural v6 over a turbo in an suv any day.
Passport wins.
It's a Thanksgiving miracle!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Lori, Joe!!! Kia absolutely knocked it out of the park with this redesigned Sorento!!! I really see a theme here...Kia, Hyundai, Genesis and now Ioniq are just dishing out amazing rides month after month, day after day!!! It's like Thanksgiving Day everyday with them!!!
I always look forward to reading your comments.
Hey Joe and Lori nice job on the videos. Joe I have to say. I own a 2022 Subaru outback wilderness and that is one fine piece of metal. I never knew that the Sorento was nice as it was.....Lori you are 1 awesome videoagrapher! Keep up the GREAT WORK! Keep it going
Awesome as usual!! X line badge reminds me of BMW Xdrive lol!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
Just took the Sorrento GT line out for a test drive last weekend here in Australia. I got to tell you I'm impressed with the top of the range line. It has a few extra features which you don't have in the one you have shown in the video. Your description was top noch there. The only dissapointing thing here in AUS is the 12 month wait for the new model when ordering one. Again, great video!!
Honda Passport: "And it was Thanksgiving so I took that personally..."
Happy thanksgiving Joe and Lori.
Thanks my friend! Same to you!
@@RaitisRides Thank you!!!
I bought the 2021 Kia Sorento in July to go a little bigger than my Equinox. I have to say I LOVE the Sorento! I bought the EX trim AWD with turbo. It's quiet, rides smooth and has good power to merge on the highway. The only annoyance is the display, always having to push "confirm" that you will keep your eyes on the road it goes away after 30 seconds though. It's hard to find anything I don't like about the Sorento. It's an awesome car. I couldn't afford the top trim for the ventilated seats. :(
This is great looking vehicle…..thanks for the 🦃 surprise……Joe and Lori 😊
It will look even better with the new Kia badge
I like Honda but lately Kia be doing it think choose Sorento.
You are so very right Ramon!
Hey Jive Turkey - Happy Thanksgiving to you & Lori. KIA is revolutionizing auto production. their new stuff at the car shows is blowing everyone away. thanks for your awesome team work & sharing your posts with your hardcore fans & even the new fans - tony
You are the man with the plan!
Honda passport is more off-road and this Kia Sorento more familiar that’s why this Kia Sorento has more options and happy thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 mother truckers
Lots of space for snacks and candies.
You better believe it!
nice job Joe and Kia has really came up since they debuted.I’ll take heated & ventilated for the non memory drivers seat and a zinger over a Twinkie lol
I totally agree with you Dave!
@Nordav Devito lol mad Honda fan boy💀
@Nordav Devito lol still mad
💀
The Passport is end of life as I think 2022 is redesigned model. But Kia has new head designer Karim Habib responsible for Carnival/Sorento/and more which is pushing design for a non luxury vehicle.
This is very true!
Thanks you for share knowledge about this car. Kia
You are so very welcome.
@@RaitisRides Yes,Ok
Hello! Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks Dave! We appreciate you!
"Stop cryin' or I'll give ya something to cry about!" Those words echoed in my head as you said that! I love the humor! You are the best Joe! The review is fabulous of course too.
I like the Sorento but Honda has the better engine. Where’s the 2022 model? Happy Thanksgiving! 🍽🦃 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
The 2022 Is coming very soon!
Kia has better engine as well. No difference
Honda needs to add a center arm rest console to Passport , Pilot , Odyssey , Ridgeline ...... the small folding armrests on the seats need to be gone !
Wow I love the look of this KIA! The exterior is absolutely beautiful and the interior even better! I was surprised this had a 3rd row.
I love the interior very nice review
Thanks Ryan!
Happy Thanksgiving Raiti !
Same to you man!

Have you heard of the SEAT Tarraco, a rival to the Kia Sorento?
Yes I have!
@@RaitisRides Cool!
They have a 245hp Tarraco that will do 0-60 in the same time as this Sorento.
@@DaveDVideoMaker Heck yeah!
only 2seats at the back .. that's not for me .. 3rd roll mostly not in use 🤦🏽
Happy Thanksgiving Joe, Lori, and the whole Raiti's Rides family. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
You are awesome thank you!
I love it my boy Joe keep up the work and I love the video lot real true 💯
I appreciate you always tuning in no matter what!
I see colour on you, blue tee!
You are so very right!
The passport also comes with 20 inch wheels. I choose the passport over the sorento because of its large interior volume. If you look at the video you notice that your right knee rubs against the center console. That seating position will cause pain for a lot of people on long trips. The size of the sorento make it a little better to maneuver and park in dense Cities. The forward facing camera is also a good idea. In contrast you could tow up to 5000lbs with the passport if you install an oil cooler. They are both good vehicles and it will depend on your driving habits and needs to say which vehicle is right for you. I personally never just focus on appearance when buying a car I look at what it will do for me. A last point is that the kia engine, body, interior, etc has not yet been proven to be as though as the passport.
At 4:45 J. C Whitney catalog!!! Rofdlmao use to spend tons of money 💰🤑 there Joe!
Same here brother! Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you!

LOL at the "whoa" and rhymes lol. I got beats for u!
Don’t buy this vehicle! I own one and I’m having transmission problems, I also follow the Kia Reddit page and I’ve seen two other people that have had to have their transmissions replaced…
Really can't wait to see what you think of the new 2022 Forte GT.
I am bringing it soon!
Love how the infosystem is low and doesn't look like someone just plastered an ipad on the hood lol. The amount of gloss black is a bit turn off. I have a Seltos EX and yeah... the fingerprints... and smudges...bleh. Thank you to you and Lori!! Have a safe Thanksgiving!!
Definitely a great thumbs up
Hey Joe 👋 👋
I would pick the new 2022 kia sorento phev over the honda pilot. The new 2022 kia sorento phev gets 79mpg and by far a better looking car.
So thankful for you Joe and Lori Raiti from Raiti's Rides!
That means so much Kobe.
Having driven both the sorento and the passport I'd have to say passport hands own. Bought the passport touring AWD. It's got a better engine and transmission and the passport has a feeling of refinement and quality that far surpasses the sorento with much more room. BTW the passport touring does have 20 inch wheels (265 wide). I do like the 360 camera and would like to see Honda get with that program
The first place I'm running to is Mr. Raiti! I just heard the news: the Dodge Hellcats are being cancelled. :(
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Lori and family 😁
Same to you and yours!
Man! Rrally. What’s your problem with the twinky?😅 these cakes are everywhere in the car
Very American muscle car looking front end I like it
I’m so glad that you like it!
Good stuff Joe! Happy Turkey Day,…. I think all the 2022’s have memory seats 👍👍
The only problem is it’s Kia
KIA is knocking this out of the park, it’s a home run.
You better believe it!
Are u gonna be at the central FL auto show dec3-5? Just saw a commercial and thought of you.
4:54 reminds me of Captain American grapes the helicopter
That is aweeosme!
Why yes it is lol. Passport looks plain
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.i enjoy this video can you do a review on the ex model fully loaded
Will do Corey! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you
The 2022 sorento does have memory seats now. Kia realized they fucked up.
Joe and Lori, thank you for the great reviews! Please let us see a “few thousand miles” review of the GT350 that you own! I understand its been out of production but I am aiming to buy a used 2020 in the next couple of months! I’d like to know how yours is holding up.
Thank you!
My 2013 Sorento has gas struts for the gas struts for the hood. They cheaper out here with the prop rod, but it will last longer.
Man i couldn't finish watching the video before i say that you're probably the funniest car reviewer on the planet. I admire your spirit, Keep it up 👍🏻
Nice VDO and good car but I can't see the third row air vents. When can Kia add them ?
It’s the 2021 Kia Sorento T- line for TWINKIE
Happy Thanksgiving!!! 🦃🦃🦃

They say 20 in the city yea right
I’m doing 14-15 city

2021 Kia Sorento SX Prestige X-Line!
Those headlights are built like the Twin Towers 😂😂
Seats 💺 look incredible
And This rivals is Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
nope.
@@america6529 😡😡
X-Line appears more of an appearance package than anything, which is fine. Just don’t enjoy skipping zonks on some cars but not on others. 🤦🏼♂️
What did I miss? This is not just an appearance pkg
When are you doing a review on a PHEV model?
You get so much for 45k 🔥
You can say that again!
2022???
Coming soon!
Looks like the Volkswagen Touraeg
Please review D-max
Will do!!
Rims are awesome 👌 👏 😎
$45g for a Kia... what's this world 🌎 coming to.. I'll go. Buy a taco instead
The Kia brings a ton of tech compared to the Toyota.
@@RaitisRides Not for 45k, Toyota’s been around a lot longer then Kia
@@XX-166 you need to drive one of these.
@@RaitisRides I’ve driven their newest item just like that one and Toyota has them on this particular item. No memory seats but you try a 3rd row that only Gary Coleman could fit in?? Gimme a break .. no pun intended.
you just can't afford it pal.
Honda makes some of the worst SUVS I ever seen
Hey joe will you do a review on the sonata nline night edition.
$ 45K is a really good price for this SUV.
Currently No AWD Passports available in South Florida to test drive, oh well
There's a reason they are sold out, a fantastic vehicle
👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺
Thanks fir watching!
Yes.New Kia’s in general are 100 levels over any Honda design wise.No doubt
Just buy the objectively hotter in every way sister, the Hyundai.

instead of a go-bag, Joe and the X line has a Go-tray
Love the color 😍
Happy Thanksgiving Joe and Lori
Misinfo Joe, Passport has 20'' wheel on all trims. Sorento does not.
Thanks for the info
The 2022 (not the 2021 model hyped in the review headline) Sorento has much to recommend it. The 2.5L turbo engine and DCT is an excellent replacement for the previous generation's reliable but long-in-the-tooth V6. Much better performance and fuel economy. It's an engine that KIA, Hyundai, and Genesis are offering in at least nine different vehicles (by my last count) and has received strong reviews in virtually every vehicle from the KIA K5 GT and Hyundai Sonata N-Line, to the Genesis GV70 and G80.
Unfortunately, KIA has committed one major error that's a deal breaker for our family that has owned two Sorentos over the last decade including our current 2018 top trim SX-L version. All but the lowest trims of the 2022 Sorento can be fitted only with captain chairs in the second row. And even for our small family (two adults, a teenager, and a big dog) that's unacceptable. The only way to accommodate our dog is to deploy the small third row bench or keep "Fido" in the cargo hold behind the second row. Using the third row of seats virtually eliminates cargo space beyond a few bags of groceries and putting the dog in the space behind the 2nd row severely restricts cargo space as well. And for families that need passenger space for five humans, as we frequently do, the same is true.
The Sorento's occasional use third row is a great convenience and a major reason we chose the Sorento over its closely related cousin, the Hyundai Santa Fe. But to require it to be deployed for passenger accommodations for more than 4 humans (or 3 humans and a big dog) severely limits the Sorento's versatility. Even worse, because a second row bench seat is only available on the lowest trims, it cannot be had with the 2.5L turbo engine as well as a host of other amenities and features reserved for mid and upper trims. We chose our current Sorento over the substantially larger Telluride in part for its price advantage. But more importantly because it's a "Goldilocks" size that both fits easily in our garage and accomplishes its primary mission of easily navigating urban and suburban traffic and parking challenges. Forcing the use of the third row for any load of more than 4 passengers is unacceptable.
Sadly, then, we won't be considering the 2022 Sorento despite the fact that we've had excellent service from both our 2012 and 2018 models. We would hate to give up the occasional use of the third row but the Hyundai Santa Fe at least seats five humans (or three humans and a large dog) along with their luggage and gear. Until KIA makes a second row bench coupled with the 2.5L turbo engine available on mid and upper trim Sorentos we won't be purchasing a third version.
The 2021 & 2022 are the same.
@@RaitisRides Not so. The current generation Sorento introduced in mid 2021 was (and is) a 2022 model and is so labelled. If you had walked into a KIA dealer before the new generation was available and asked to see a "new" Sorento, you would have been shown the last generation vehicle with a window sticker designating it as a 2021 model. This makes little difference, of course, except in terms of resale where the designated model year has a significant impact on the trade-in or resale value.
Happy thanksgiving 🦃
The 20in wheel actually comes with a 255 size tire not 235
Thanks for the info!
