- Fred Price was one of the greatest faith teachers I've ever heard. For more than a quarter of a century he appeared weekly on TV teaching the principles of faith from his church Crenshaw Christian Center in Inglewood, California. He passed away Friday night at the age of 89 after leaving a legacy of anointed ministry and impacting millions of lives. This is a brief tribute to Apostle Price.

I've had it with the negative comments. Apostle Fred Price and Kenneth Hagin both affirmed all of the essentials of the faith (salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, the deity of Jesus, the virgin birth, the Resurrection, the 2nd Coming, eternal judgment ...) and were therefore not heretics, false teachers, or whatever. Most of you knuckleheads probably can't even define "heresy" or "prosperity gospel". I know because I've been dealing with your ilk for years. This isn't the time or place for debate. This video is to memorialize Brother Price for a lifetime of ministry that touched countless lives. All you guys are doing is revealing your lack of class. I'm going to be deleting these comments as soon as they appear.

People have lied about Brother Price for year, not knowing anything about his life and how awesome he taught the Word. He was about holy discipline. And God bless him for it. These heretic hunters label people they don’t even know. What this man did for his community is immeasurable. And the wonderful thing is he was able to share the gospel with the rest of us. I thank God I got to hear Brother Price. And to the knuckleheads If the Bible isn’t about our relationship with God and how he wants to bless us then what is it? Thank God Brother Price did shrink from teaching the truth of Gods Word.

Knuckleheads indeed. This is not the time nor place, his family and many around the world are mourning and celebrating the life of Dr Price. People have the gall to call him and dad Hagin heretics at this time, well that's not christian behaviour, it's just demonic.
When I saw this I almost cried. Then I imagine Apostle Price saying " Don't cry for me; I'm good, I've gone home. Those of you still in the world should continue to pray and believe."

My sister-in-Christ -- The perfecting gift that is Frederick K C Price left a special message to the Body of Christ. Desperately, i'd like to explain more... some day this message will be amplified so we (as The Body universally) might take the next move [together]. There is much to be done before the tribulation -- we must work individually [then together] toward completion.

Thank you so much for creating this. I've attended CCC my entire life, I'm 34yo now. Apostle dedicated me to the lord at 3 yo, I joined the church at 6. My entire life I have listened to Apostles teachings and viewed him up close and personal. He was the greatest teacher I have ever known and his impact on my life the life of my family is the reason I am the woman I am today. He has been and will always be one of my heroes. I am thankful that I had opportunities to give he and Dr. Betty their flowers on earth. He gave everything he had to his congregation in hopes that it would click and we would live the abundant life Jesus died for us to have. He gave us real life tools to use when going through battles and taught us to recognize spiritual warfare. I am going to miss him so much.
He was one of the first preachers I would actually listen to soon after I was born again 30 years ago. His preaching fed my spirit.

Dr. Frederick K.C. Price was one of my favorite teachers. When listening to him, I always knew I was going to be fed and taught the Word of God. I had no idea he passed until this beautiful video showed up in my recommendations. I was hurt at first, but then I realized it was foolish to feel that way. He went home to our loving God. Ain't nothing sad about that! He's celebrating and we should too. Until I see you again, Dr. Price, rest well in heaven thy good and faithful servant!!

I had the opportunity to teach in Fred Price's school of ministry for two years (2009-2010). It was a great experience, his people were very loving and giving. One of the teachers who I new very well had suffered the loss of his son and the students banded together and paid for the funeral and services and then some. It was an honor to teach in his ministry after having benefited from his teachings through the years.
His teachings led me back to Christ. Now I am a pastor teaching God’s word and praying for his family, such a great man of God.
I am proud to say I was a recipient of Fred Price's teaching about Faith back in 1983. I was definitely lead by the holy spirit to him on television right after I got miraculously saved in Greenbelt, Maryland. I didn't know he even existed, I just clicked on the remote control one Sunday and there he was. What an honor that God chose him to be my first pastor and teacher of the word as I had gotten saved in my apartment and didn't have a church home and didn't know I even had to go to church! God used him mightily with me, and for that I am eternally grateful! REST IN PEACE! MIGHTY MAN OF GOD! THANK-YOU FOREVER AND PRAISE GOD FOR BEING SUCH A BLESSING!!! My condolences to his wife and family, may God give them peace and comfort during this time.

Dr. Fred Price was my Pastors, Pastor, One of the first books i ever bought was from Dr. Price. I had the pleasure of meeting him and his beautiful wife in Chattanooga Tn. His series Race, Religion and racism is the most through work and documented series i have ever heard. This man was truly a gift to our world. and was lead by God. And he DID NOT compromise the word of God for memberships. for fame, or ego. He preached because he found the truth and the peace that God promised. RIH Holy Apostle!
The one time I got to listen to and see Dr Price in person was in Chattanooga, TN.

Frederick K.C. Price. I used to watch Ever Increasing Faith on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. on WPIX channel 11 in NYC about 38 years ago. I was searching for God through Jesus Christ, and Frederick Price was the minister who put me on that narrow road of righteousness that leads to salvation. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

Dr Fred Price opened my husband cold cold heart to God. He wasn't a good husband. But he died under the wings of our heavenly Father. If but only one. He did his job.

My condolences to his family. I can say he was the only televangelist that has never been caught up in controversy. He is also a preacher that has never wavered from the word of God. May the legacy that God has granted him live on.

Watching him on television as I was mourning the death of my son helped me so much. I have his books which have also have helped me. He will be missed. I watched him on weekends.

OMG! He will be missed! He learned from my mentor, Kenneth E. Hagin, and Price stepped out on faith. I saw him and wife Betty at Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Phila. many years ago, and I knew he was a man of God !! I wish there were more Pastors like him, but sadly, most don't believe the Word of God much anymore.

DR. Price was the first preacher i heard after i got saved at 16 im almost 50 now. He is the only T.V. preacher who has held my respect after Father Hagin passed. He helped me thru my teen yrs as a outcast and my favorite book by him is faith foolishness or presumption . thank you DR. Price I love you!

Rev Price was my first teacher when my family couldn't find a church. I want to thank him for feeding my spirit. I will always remember 2 Corinthians 5 For we live by faith, not by sight. RIP teacher

Thanks for sharing, He was an awesome teacher. I used to watch him on TV when I was a teenager and I had a chance to go to his church with my Aunt who was a member, when I came to visit. He was a blessing to the Body of Christ.

I was a member of CCC for 20 years until I moved to Seattle. I’ll never forget one night at bible study, I was relatively still a new member, he walked right by me. I felt nothing but pure love from the man! He was holding another member’s baby like Jesus did when he said, “suffer the little children to come unto me”. What a great man of God! We’ll see him again!
I will always remember Apostle Fred Price. A great man of God who taught me how to walk in the Word of God and how to apply it to my life in the early 90's. I will always be grateful to God for allowing me to sit under his teachings. And I must say that I totally admire Dr. Betty. A woman full of grace and excellence. Thank you for this, Pastor price is one of the few pastors that spoke to my spirit with the truth of God's word when I was a baby Christian hungry for the Word of God. He carried his torch passed it on and taking his rest in the arms of our Glorious Lord.

The Apostle Frederick K C Price is home. I've watched and served in his New York church. He was dynamic and smooth a man who delivered the message with clarity and authority. Dr. Price's passing. He Inspired me for many years since I received Christ in 1975 . His teachings were so informative and straight from truth and knowledge. I will forever be thankful for what I received from his instructions from the Lord. Amen.

I remember Fred Price teaching Ephesians nearly one word at a time. It took a year or so. I loved his discipline for himself and his church members. God is so good, Fred Prince is in glory.

Dr. Fred Price undoubtedly is one of the greatest preachers on FAITH. I learned a lot from him in my formative Christian life. I salute him. May his blessed soul rest in perfect peace.
Good work Rod. I used to be a columnist/journalist. Occasionally I would expand on what I had read in an obituary about the accomplishments of the deceased. Then I would receive emails from family members of the deceased thanking me for my laudatory. Those were the most rewarding pieces I ever wrote. In requiem Fred Price.
