Mobile phone school ban? We hear from those that stand to be affected

- In light of concerns over screen time, should mobile phones be prohibited in schools, as a new petition is calling for?
We asked comprehensive school students what they think, as they'd be directly affected by a ban.
really?????? asking kids....... smh. no phones, no gays, n of course no drugs. vote for me for president
GBC shouldn’t have ask young teens about the banning of phones within school question.
Mostly all teens are addicted to them, they seem not to function without it and mostly all teens nowadays are not aware how harmful phones are within school. Basically teens can’t live without a freaking mobile phone. The school itself should let all parents know the schools emergency contact number, but only for major emergencies only. Also teens nowadays have all the latest phones, taking it with you is great, cause it may have your life or someone’s life in general speaking and if any student is caught using it during school hours it would be a go straight home suspension, followed by informing the teens parents/parent and if they continue on then it will become a serious issue/problem.
I hope all I’ve said is understandable.
Lol phones are banned in skl where i am if a teacher catchs u with it they will take it

I'm in bayside, not saying what year or classes for privacy reasons and it is quite annoying that we can't use our phones. And kids like to listen to music and because it helps some kids concentrate and it also reduces talking in class because people don't need to talk much when they are using their earphones because they are motivated by some songs so I just want to be able to listen to music on Fridays or weeks where we finish all our work in one subject then we can spend the Friday lesson listening to music or if we have done very well or finished all of your work to the best it can be then for the rest of the lesson you should be able to listen to music.
