I am pretty sure the chevy volt is one of the few cars that doesnt use its 12v battery to start the engine. going to try to replace the 12v AGM with a few lifepo4 cells. save 35lbs. keep the tank at half around town and thats another 30-60 lbs. ~3% lower mass of the vehicle.

10 mm both on top cover plastic and on battery terminals? And 13 mm on battery lockdown? Ideally not bend that Positive bus bar, instead lift everything straight up

Maybe your should point out to use an AGM battery because it's INSIDE the car. You DID say correct battery but lead acid could fit also.👍
